My first experience with this was awful. Then I figured out the trick! I am used to taking a spoonful of coconut oil occasionally, and thought I could do the same with this. I was wrong! You may be fine, but this made me nauseated for hours afterwords and if I thought about the taste/texture going down for too long I could literally gag hours later. And this is coming from someone who cannot throw up without making myself no matter how sick, drunk, food poisoning or anything that I am, lol! I thought, OK, there has to be a better way. So the next morning, before drinking my butter/coconut oil coffee I decided to mix my dose into a small glass of water with my milk frother. IT WORKED GREAT! It dispersed it into the water long enough for me to drink it in two gulps, no problem. No awful texture, no gagging, it was perfect. This will be how I use it from now on, for certain and I suggest trying it if you plain to take it straight without mixing into a shake or anything.

This fish oil is great. Most people look at me as if I have two heads when I say I take a liquid fish oil supplement; they go, "Ew. Don't you burp any of it back up?" I tell them that I do not. This fish oil has a pleasant taste of oranges; I typically put two teaspoons of fish oil per day in a mug and fill it with water and mix it. I take this primarily for asthma as well as its anti-inflammatory effects. WebMD has a good guide to measure your dosage. Since I have started taking this fish oil in the last three weeks, I've noticed a drop in my allergies/asthma issues as well as an increase in my exercise (running) performance--the amount of breathing issues I have has dropped.The brand of fish oil itself proves to be decent; I wish they had an organic version, though. Beats out Nordic Naturals liquid fish oil with regard to nutrient density and price by a long shot.Also, I was initially disappointed that the shipping would take long, as it is sold through a third party. However, it arrived quicker than the estimated arrival date and was packaged pretty well! Will be ordering from this third party through Amazon in the future!

I bought the Fish Oil to give to my son because he hates to take pills. I thought this would be an easier way, which it is. The only issue I have with the product is dispensing. Every day I pour onto measuring spoon and a little bit spills on the counter or down the side of the bottle. All that adds up, but if you don't mind wasting a little each time, this is a great product! On a side note, it is "orange flavored" which you cannot taste when taking it. You will recognize the orange flavor in your burps throughout the next few hours though. It is very weird but tolerable.

My cardiologist recommended I take fish oil and handed me a sheet which listed various bands and the price cost per month. Lovaza the brand recommended had 465 mg EPA - 375 mg DHA per pill (4 pills are recommend per day). Sounds like a lot to me, guess someone has to keep Pharma in business. Nature's Answer on the other hand has 650 mg EPA - 450 mg DHA per tsp and a lot less expensive.At the moment I take 1 tsp of Cod Liver Oil in the morning and 1 tsp Nature's Answer fish oil with dinner. I think the taste is fine, no problem at all.If people are hesitant about taking fish oil because of the fishy taste and smell, this one smells and taste pleasant, like orange. One thing I can recommend is to rinse your face with warm soapy water in order to remove any fish oil that may be on your face near your lips.Previously,I use to take fish oil in capsule form . The problem very often is that type of fish oil is rancid and you have no way of knowing it. Also,for me I would burp those pills for hours. I even tried the enteric coating pills but I still burped them but not as bad.Nature's Answer Fish Oil gets high grades from me, I'm "hooked" on this one.

Excellent fish oil, great price, recommended.Flavor is mild citrus, no hint of anything that was once swimming in the sea. A little scary in that if you are familiar with most fish oils, you ask yourself if it really is fish oil...Care and feeding of oils:Fish oil, and oil in general, should be fresh. Once it's left too warm for too long, it turns bad. Oxidized rancid oil does the opposite of what good oil does, reverses all the health benefits you expect to obtain.You have to ask yourself what sort of mishandling a lot of the foul tasting oil out there has been subjected to before arriving at your doorstep.This stuff is good - and if it doesn't taste citrusy fresh as described - one reviewer reported "Tastes like death in a bottle" - then in that case it's time to send it back.Keep it capped and cold and as far as reasonably possible, out of direct light in the refrigerator, and this oil will be your friend.Recommended!
