Nice, but pricey
Didn't purchase this for the thickening agents as much as for the natural and nourishing ingredients. The smell is a bonus. Came well-packaged. Wish it wasn't so expensive.I purchased this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.

Faintly Manly Smelling Shampoo That Is Rather Expensive
I need to read more carefully. This is Amazology shampoo which is meant for men. Frankly I doubt there is any real difference when it comes to products for hair for men or women. So, I tried it out, and my sons can see what they think when they come in.The smell is more manly. It reminded me of older scents that my Dad used. I didn't think the shampoo smelled very good, but it was not really heavy and too bad. I did read later and saw it had some evergreens in there for scent, and I'm allergic to evergreens. That may be why it did not smell very heavy to me.The shampoo lathered up fine and rinsed out easily. My hair did feel clean and faintly manly (which is not what I really want to go for). When I dry my hair (which is usually), it does seem to look a bit fuller but kind of dry on the ends. I may need to use more conditioner on the ends. Since this said "argan oil," I was thinking I would not need to use much conditioner for fear of having oily hair (although it does say the shampoo is for oily hair). So, it did fine on the bulk of my hair which tends to be oily but not so much on the drier ends.I did get a discount on the shampoo for telling review readers my honest thoughts. I would not pay full price or even reduced price. It's an okay shampoo, but there are several brands I like a lot better. Maybe the cost is due to the rain-forest ingredients, but I consider this a lot for shampoo, especially when it does not totally wow me.

If mediocrity is your thing ...
Then this is a fine product. I used the shampoo and conditioner. They are not great products, but not horrible, either. At this price point, I expected at least above average, but I just didn’t experience anything exceptional. My hair is clean, and that pretty much sums up performance. When I consider the cost, I would say this is a “not recommended.” There’s no value here and only average quality.

Great smell and love the natural ingredients
Great smell and love the natural ingredients. A little goes a long way, but still the price is quite high. Reduce it to $15 and it gets 5 stars.
