Highly pigmented, a great step up from craft paint
Highly pigmented, superb mixing and blending.I typically use craft paints and am served well, but I REALLY feel the difference on smaller details with these paints, even when using cheap brushes.The bottles are small and expensive, but this is fine for Miniature painting. I will continue to use craft paint for terrain and larger sections, but this case it precisely what I need for minis. Note that there are perhaps a few too many metallics in this set, so it may be good to grab the basic case as well (that one also has washes).

Lots of colors, not very vibrant
Lots of color options in this set but not a lot of variety. Colors don't vary much. Like 6 types of gray and 5 types of brown. I could have bought a smaller set and accomplished more. Some of the paints vary a lot in viscosity (thick or watery)

Nice selection of starter paints for the beginner hobbyist.
You get a nice selection of colors, inks, metallics, fleshtones, and even a clear and matte varnish. It's a nice little set.

WHAT HAPPENED??
Vallejo are my Go To paints for my modelling hobby, they are among, if not, THE best acrylics in the world of Model painting, I keep buying their WizKids range separate boxes of 8 paints as they have some great and unusual colors that I have founfd useful to go along with all their other paints that I use. So I thought I would treat myself and buy all of their 40 and 30 plus bottle case sets. I was apprehensive about the shipping as I had read various reviews about burst and spilt bottles, but no mind, it can't happen to me right? WRONG! very disappointed at the sorry state of the case and paints! As I have stated, the paints are great, but the packing in these cases not so much. Set up a return and will have to now wait on the re-order.

Nice product but one bottle with dried paint.
Nice paint. Had one bottle that the paint was dried up. Please send us another one, color and item number shown in picture. I don’t want to return the whole kit. If I don’t here back I will return kit.

Lots of colors, but a little disappointed
Lots of colors, but some of the colors are very runny and seem to spray on like water and a second spray blows it away.

Came loose, missing ink
The paints came all loose, which messed up the paintbrush a bit. Also, I received 2 purple inks and no blue ink, so don't know what happened there
