A great COMPLETE PROTEIN to add to your diet... after a small learning curve =)
I ordered both the Decadent Chocolate and the Unflavored versions. I had hoped to use the Unflavored version to add to meals to increase their protein content. Many of you who are more familiar with whey powder than I probably already knew this wouldn't turn out well. Live and learn, right? =) Nevertheless, I still recommend this whey powder. I purchased THIS whey powder because I like the conscientiousness with which it is created. Despite the claim of the new recyclable cardboard container, both of mine came in the plastic container. I suspect this is just a matter of using up old inventory before the new cardboard jars start shipping out. (Receiving a plastic container actually impressed me because it meant that the distributor is properly rotating their inventory!)Neither flavor dissolves well in a shaker cup with cold milk, but that has been my experience with every whey protein powder I've tried, so I didn't bother taking off stars for that. I just "chew" the clumps as I encounter them and move on with my life. It's not unpleasant. The dry powder has a somewhat moist, clumpy consistency, not at all free-flowing like powdered coffee creamer. After doing a little research, what I do now to get more protein in my life, is make up small batches of the powder + coffee creamer/half-and-half/milk. I add a level scoop of the powder to 1 cup of liquid sugar-free coffee creamer, whisk the CRAP out of it to eliminate as many lumps as possible, and add it to my coffee. Don't just stir with a spoon; that does almost nothing to get it to combine with the liquid. Also, don't just add it to hot coffee like you would powdered creamer because whey powder is designed to dissolve better in cold liquids (such that it dissolves at all, LOL).As mentioned, I originally wanted to add the unflavored version to meals.... I should have tasted the powder before doing that. LOL It has a vaguely sweet taste like powdered milk... not sweet, per se, but the HINT of sweetness from the lactose, if that makes sense). ***Do NOT add it to tuna salad. It's disgusting. LOL*** That said, it WOULD be an okay addition to creamy dishes like Beef Stroganoff, alfredo sauce, and similar things (whisk it with a bit of cold liquid BEFORE adding it to the dish). For a protein powder to add to non-creamy dishes, I would recommend pea protein.I hope this review helped some of you. I am not following a strict keto or paleo eating plan, but AM trying to increase protein in my diet while decreasing useless empty starches. Also, for those of you who are ovo-lacto vegetarians (but not vegan), whey protein is a COMPLETE protein and contains all nine of the essential amino acids that the human body cannot produce on its own, so it's another good way to make sure you get enough protein in your diet.

No clumps, few ingredients, pleasant taste.
Amazing. This Whey protein has very few ingredients, and mixes up well. I find that, out of old habit, I shake the powered very vigorously for a long time, but this is unnecessary. A few swirls will do just fine in 8oz of water (the label says 6-8oz, I just go with 8). It mixes quickly into a very pleasant, light chocolate flavor (without any nasty 'clumps'). A few months after purchasing this, I was doing some research on Whey. I learned there are 3 main types; Concentrate, Isolate, and Hydrolysate, each with their own respective pro's and con's. Out of curiosity, I checked to see what kind of whey Bodylogix uses. Their number one ingredient is their "Protein Blend", which includes all three types. For myself, this is great! But if you're set on one exact type, this may not be for you.The only ingredients aside from the "Protein Blend" are as follows; natural chocolate flavor, cocoa, organic stevia leaf extract, lecithin, bromenlain. Note that it DOES contain milk and soy.-This product is Gluten free, which is not a concern for me, but I know it is very popular these days.-The use cold processed cross-flow microfiltration, so they're not denaturing the proteins during processing.-They source from grass-fed cowsYou might be able to tell from the photo, this protein comes in a cardboard-textured box that is recyclable with paper, or can go with compost. The actual power is in a removable sack inside of this.Overall, this is a nice, pleasant tasting protein with very few ingredients. It mixes up great, it's everything I've been wanting in a protein powder. Kudos to Bodylogix. I'll certainly be a repeat buyer.

Type 2 Diabetes - Natural Vanilla Bean, 1.85 Pound
I am writing this review as a Type 2 Diabetic patient. If it wasn't for testing my numbers after this drink, I'd swear I was drinking cake batter. I bought Natural Vanilla Bean, 1.85 Pound as well as the Decadent Chocolate, 1.85 pounds. So far I have only opened the vanilla bean and used unsweetened almond milk to mix it in. The powder did not dissolve like I hoped it would, so I used my bullet mixer. The only negative thing I have to say about that is it makes my drink frothy (when using the bullet) and I hate the taste of dairy. Even using the bullet, the powder did not dissolve all the way like it does with the other protein powders, however, considering the major differences between this and others is astounding. My glucose levels DID NOT SPIKE! My numbers actually went down after my drink. It is very sweet, very low carbs, high protein, very low sugars, very low calories, but it is a bit expensive and doesn't dissolve (the clumps turn into this toothpaste consistency). The powder itself smells like pancake mix or cake batter. This shipped overnight... that's never happened before, so I was extremely happy to get my products the NEXT DAY! :)The taste of the vanilla bean is like a melted milkshake or melted ice cream. I really do not like the milky/dairy taste, so I prefer to use 1/2 c water with 1/2 c almond milk with the scoop of powder (comes with a scooper).
