Best one we found.
Bought it for a friend going to South Africa and she told me it was the best. Everyone on her trip had to use hers, as theirs didn't work or overheated.

Worked Perfectly But I Wouldn't Buy Again
Used them regularly in South Africa for almost a year. Left them there to keep using them on my next visit. That said, I wouldn't buy them again but only because really cheap European plug adapters and power strips are ubiquitous in SA these days and since I travel to Europe all the time, I have plenty of those. Many newer appliances in SA come with European plugs these days too.

A necessity for a trip with lots of electronics that need charging
Took this on a trip to South Africa and put it to heavy use. Having two USB ports (one for smartphone and one for larger electronics) was very helpful. I even plugged in a multi port USB charger so my whole family could charge phones, activity trackers, tablets, etc with only one adapter. It also worked at the two places we stayed in Botswana and Zambia, but that might not be true for everyone as I understand that the outlets in those countries can vary.

Worked great in South Africa
I found in some areas I didn't need this, but for the hotels that didn't have USB ports or a plug I could use, this is what I needed. I also used a converter along with this. Not sure it was needed but since I had it, I used it. No problems. Also worked in Swaziland (only stayed at one hotel there)

Yeah, it works!
Traveling in South Africa, this is the plug of choice. Accepts usb, two prong standard plugs and S African gizmos - every thing works. Small compact design easy to transport - especially if you toss the box it came in.What more could one ask?
