Best Manual Heavy Duty Pencil Sharpener for Classrooms,Teachers and Schools

Seems to work just like the classic manual sharpeners of old – and delivers a nice, sharp point.

I feel like a stylish teacher from the 50s, Ms. Mathers from Leave it to Beaver. It works like a charm and my kids have fun sharpening every pencil in sight to pin point sharpness.

This pencil sharpener is awesome in many ways. However, it fails on a few counts:When you pull out the pencil holder, the catch is weak and it will slide back in.You often have to press the pencil in very firmly--too firmly--to get the pencil to engage.The shavings container is both hard to disengage and rather leaky--it will leave filthy pencil shavings in your bag.It actually OVERsharpens pencil to such a fine point that they break--I've learned to stop grinding sooner.Most importantly, it does not seem to grip ROUND pencils (such as colored pencils). It grips hexagonal pencils just fine.

Broke after 3 weeks of use. Apparently I just missed the return window. Not happy at all. I did a ton of research and this was a recommended sharpener. Worked great for a short time. No idea how to get a hold of the company or try to resolve this

Bought this sharpener for my classroom. It leaves pencils way sharper than My heavy duty electric sharpener and the pencil point doesn't break 3 seconds into writing. Easy to use (I don't let the first graders touch it). I would def recommend!

Dented when I got it, but I still works great!

This is my favorite pencil sharpener ever. In may classroom, we even gave it a name, "Grrr"
