Good but not great
This is a good aide to learning about DADGAD tuning. I have learned a great deal, but it is a little sparse for the price and seems poorly organized to me. I am overall pleased with it, and would probably buy it again, knowing what I know now, but you might want to research to see if this is the book you were looking for. Assumes some prior experience with the guitar.

Typical good mel Bay instruction book
I'm still wading my way thru it. If I have any complaint, its a little deeper than I am when it comes to tecnical stuff.Other than that its a good book.

DADGAD for the advanced guitarist.
I really thought Mel Bay would produce a better DADGAD chord book than this. It's hard to understand and I think there are very few usable chords shown in this book. The book talks about progression and scales etc etc and the illustrations are very complicated. For a beginner, do NOT buy this book. If you have studied music and understand chord progression etc and are an advanced guitarist, by all means give this book a try. But for me, it's two thumbs down. I've learned more off YouTube watching them play than what I've gotten from this book.

Useful..
It is what it is. This is a book of chord and scale diagrams for playing in DADGAD. It contains chords and scales that you might conceivably want or need to use for the common keys you'd use DADGAD for, clustered according to key. It is very simply and usefully laid out. And it is 40 pages for $7.95.

Five Stars
Worth buying and studying.

Nothin More, Nothing Less
Simply a chord book; nothing more, nothing less. Makes it easier to play in DADGAD tuning. It would have helped if the notes were given for each string, though.

Lame book. You can google and get better charts ...
Lame book. You can google and get better charts and instruction. This was a real waste of money.

One Star
Wasn't what I was looking for, doesn't seem complete.

Slight
Some good chord structures here but mainly an awful lot of repitition of sequences and very few pages. Your best bet is to get a good book on standard tuning chord sequences and transcribe them. There is no explanation of the use of these sequences and hence one couldn't recommend this book to a beginner but conversely the depth is so slight that one couldn't recommend it to the more advanced either-In a word- AVOID

Essential knowledge
Essential knowledge, though some explanations would help enormously.
