Nasty yuck can't hide from these brushes!
The perfect answer to "How can I clean the small spaces in my humidifier safely?" The soft tips won't scratch but are effective in sweeping off the pink slime that builds up every week or so. It is almost impossible to find these brushes in local small or large stores.

They work for my use.
I bought these to replace older ones that had become rusty. I use them to clean our cats' fountains. They work perfectly. So far, so good.

Light Duty Only
Bristles are thin, flimsy, and not effective in cleaning surface debris from inside narrow-necked glass containers (eg. hummingbird feeders).. The white tips don't have enough [cotton?] material to clean without the twisted wire scraping the surfaces to be cleaned. Could be useful for very light-duty cleaning of small, straight-wall vessels. These are going to the thrift store. I'll shop for laboratory-quality brushes elsewhere.
