Great quality...
This charger is high quality and does a excellent job, charges/discharges, different number of cells/battery types, this thing does it all. Very pleased with it, I would highly recommend it, also came with all the connections needed. A+++!

Problems and Issues please read before purchase.
Problems and Issues please read before purchase. Otherwise seems to be a good charger! The unit is dead and does not charge 2C or 3C LiPo Batteries. Errors out all the time. As I mentioned in the e-mail I sent to the sellers (will see how they respond and update here) I currently use three different LiPo batteries and use three different chargers that came with the RC equipment I purchased. All the batteries are good and all the chargers charge and balance the batteries properly. No matter what I do when the unit does a Batter Check it reports Connection Break and does nothing.I have disconnected an reconnected the Break Out box for the LiPo batteries, tried AC and DC, different batteries have different voltages and charge rates but no matter what I get Connection Break errors. Yes I have read the manual (very bad English) several times and the error section does not tell you to do or try anything on Connection Break errors.Nothing worse than getting a new D.O.A. Toy!!I fired a letter (e-mail) off to the sellers asking what I should do now. Will update as thing progress. We'll see what happens.Update 1 Star to 3 Star: I received a phone call the next day and was told the output on the batteries need to be connected. This was NOT documented and actually only documented for Balance Charging but it is ALWAYS required. So now it works great for most of my batteries but not all my batteries as was the intent. The small tiny LiPo batteries 180mah 200mah for small computers, planes and boast use the Input connector as the Output connecter so there is no way to connect these. So now I still have multiple chargers?? Worst manual ever and the phone guy admitted the same.

Short Lived Power Supply
I've had this charger for about 2 months and that is how long the power supply lasted for it. Just plugged it in one day and it "popped" on the ac power. The unit still seems to work when provided with DC power so it isn't a total waste. I only charged NiMH and 2S Lipos so nothing outrageous. Would recommend you look elsewhere as there does not seem to be any warranty beyond the 30 day return policy.

The Thunder charger is well liked in the RC community
Over the past few months I have been struggling to understand why (identical) test flights are lasting only 5-12 minutes (ave times overall are around 8 min) - with 8 separate tests used in this sample.I have a non-standard FC40, which I modified to use two externally mounted MadDog 11.1v 2700mAh 25C batteries, where I upgraded the props to the Phantom 2's (9") props, and I also installed a Walkera G-2D gimble. All tests have been done using dual batteries.I have two different balance-chargers.One that that came with the FC40 (the BC20-4).The other is a Thunder AC680 balance charger.Batteries are charged with the following settings..Batteries charged on the Thunder charger are charged at 1.3A - typical charge time: <30min in a balanced charge.Batteries charged with DJI's BC20-4 charger are charged at 2A - typical (balanced) charge time: about 1 1/2 hrs.Using this method, I get an average of 8 min flight.NOTE: all flights are done by hovering the phantom at about 10ft, and holding that position until it self-lands.ALSO NOTE: that the Phantom is set to factory specs for all these tests.I'm posting this because it turns out I can get more flight time - averaging 18 min 20 sec - simply by charging both batteries used in a test with the DJI charger. But I found the Thunder charger (if used on one of the two batteries in a test) will fly for only half as long.I now know why flight durations were so short.Has anyone else compared these two chargers side-by-side?Has anyone else seen similar results? The Thunder charger is well liked in the RC community; that's why I got it in the first place; but these results have convinced me that the Thunder charger produces shorter flight times than DJI's charger. Yes, the DJI charger takes nearly three times as long to complete a balancing charge (and that is not so good), but for twice the flight time 'it is well worth the wait.

Charges great. Software wont work.
This has been a great charger. Exactly what i expected. However, i cannot get the software to work. Tried on multiple computers. Contacted seller and he was very helpful and offered to send new parts to what i thought might be wrong. I told him not to send them because i didnt really need the software. I would of bought the charger without it. Charger itself is 5 stars though. Weird thing i noticed is that it uses the same software as the hitec charger i had before.

Best I have used.
This charger is an absolute gem. Easy to use, highly accurate, have had no trouble whatsoever with it. Have charged different kinds of batteries, different sizes and configurations, with no issues. Very high build quality, highly recommended.

Initially clumsy and awkward, but it seems to work.
This product is so clumsy and awkward it's actually funny. We literally laughed that it took us an hour on google and three web videos to finally get this thing charging a LiPo battery. It's a terrible throwback to the bad-old-days of electronic products. For example, it's sad that the USB and cell connectors are not built-in, but instead hang off the chassis on PCBs connected with flimsy wires. The manual is useless, and unfortunately, it NEEDS a manual. Trial-and-error can lead to damage or fire when you are dealing with rechargeable batteries. Anyway, you can eventually get going if you google something like "thunder AC680 charge howto", and you are willing to sit through youtube videos. To download the drivers and software, try these links:h_t_t_p__blabla_site.hobbypartz.com/ThunderAC6/setup.exeh_t_t_p_s__blabla_[...]The software is clumsy and buggy, you'll need yet more web videos to get it working on your PC :/On the plus side, I just used it to charge a 3-cell LiPo, so it does work.
