This book is a great idea. It comes with everything you need to color on the go. The set includes 48 different botanical pictures to color ranging from fanciful to more realistic. It includes twelve colored pencils and a pencil sharpener with a clear plastic storage shell attached to the front cover. What makes it really special is they way it is designed. If you look at the product images you can see the coloring pages sit beneath a sheet of green cardboard directly opposite the colored pencils. This makes it easy to tear out the pages and use it as a coloring surface. It also comes with a sheet of white cardboard to place between the pages if you would rather keep your coloring pages intact. I keep my book in my purse for those times when I'm stuck somewhere I have to wait (dr's appt, tire changes). My children have long outgrown the idea of coloring and keep themselves occupied on their phones, but this would be a great idea to keep handy for younger children. There are several other titles available in the series.

I bought it to give to my daughter but have not given it to her yet. The size was slightly smaller then hat I had hoped, but I new what size it was when I ordered it.The pictures are well done and I like most of them but as when ever you get a collection like this their is always one or two that are not in your taste (which is fine and expected). Until she gets it and uses it I will not know what she think of it. It is good enough that I might get one for myself in the future.

Perfect travel set, or for a hospital stay! The whole thing is well thought out. The pencils are a surprisingly quality product and lay down a bright and uniform layer of color. Very nice gift too! will be ordering more of these sets in the future

This was one of my first coloring books that I purchased. One of the reasons I wanted it was some of the images I found intriguing. Another was because I wanted some colored pencils (not to mention a pencil sharpener). I found this purchase to be a mixed bag, and here's why.The book itself is a nice size, about 8"x8". It also has a flap that you can put between the page you are coloring and the next, to help protect the page underneath -- very nice. The images are also single-sided, which is definitely something I prefer. The paper is thin -- around 24 lb.Speaking of images, there is quite a mix between bold lines and simple images, to thin lines and more complex images. This is a plus because some days I like to get into the details of a picture...and some days I just want to color without worrying about fine details.Regarding the colored pencils and pencil sharpener...I do like the pencil sharpener! It has come in very handy. I wish I could say I like the colored pencils, but in all honesty, they are a total waste (at least the set I got). The pencils were hard and scratchy with little pigment. Also, some of the pencils were split and had cracks running down the wood casing.If you like the images, by all means grab this book. Don't buy it if you are hoping to get some nice colored pencils. I paid around $12, which is far too high for the quality of the book (not to mention the pencils). However, I see that the price has since dropped to something more in line with the quality of the coloring book.

This is a beautiful coloring book. You get absolutely everything you need except an eraser. The pages are a good weight, lots of colors, and the images are beautiful and not too intense. The setup is compact and easy to take along. A great all-inclusive gift for anyone--beginner or advanced.

I haven't started this book yet but I love the drawings. I hope to use my water soluble pencils since the pages are one-sided but if not I will use my pastel pencils and hard pastel sticks.

I love this coloring book especially with the pencils with it. The pictures are nice size but I wouldn't recommend you using pens because it will leak through. I will definitely buy another one.

I was so excited to start this adult coloring book. It is very pretty, but the pencils break CONSTANTLY. I don't press too hard. Then I sharpen it with the enclosed sharpener and go to use it and it breaks off deep inside the pencil again. I am only about a quarter of the way through the book and my pencils are nearly gone already. Just wondering if this is just a bad batch of pencils.
