Size:Kid Kart (22-27") The Armadillo SFI Certified Rib Vest Junior, Junior II , and Kid Kart (children sizes only) has the most impact absorption of any certified chest protector. The Armadillo rib protector from Team Valhalla Racing helps pad the driver's ribs, shoulders, and kidney area. Inside the side panels are plastic inserts to help distribute blows to the side of the body while driving. The padded back panel holds everything together in the back of the vest. This panel helps relieve the rubbing or pressure from the back and top of the seat. On the inside of the chest panels, there are pockets to hold cool packs. IMPORTANT NOTE: In kart racing, drivers that are 12 yrs and under are required to wear a SFI Certified chest protector.
