Best thorn protection gloves I have ever used. Own 3 pair.The only issue is that the outer shell of the palm area does tear, but the under palm material remains intact to stop thorns.

These gloves are the best protection that has ever been on my hands.The gloves we costly but they should protect your hands better than other brands.

These gloves are ok, but the sides of your fingers aren't protected, and the thorns and glochids(tiny needle thorns) will go right through the finger sides of the gloves. Best protection is using the standard heavy duty low price leather gloves which are relatively loose fitting, and wearing the Atlas form-fitting gloves which you slip into the larger leather gloves. No thorns or glochids get you when doing that way, - Prickly Pear fruit harvesting especially being a concern on all this consideration, but applies to all.
