Quality crimping and easy to use
I have many Iwiss crimpers and am very pleased with the performance and overall quality. I've used this pair of crimpers in 4 of my electronics classes and my students also prefer these over the numerous brand specific crimpers we have. This tools wire and insulation crimps are identical to the brand specific crimpers, but substantially less of an investment.

Good tool, slightly pricey
The product is on the pricey end and whether you plan to use all the crimp sizes will determine if the product is worth its value. The build quality is great. I don't like how once you start closing the ratchet, you need to close it all the way before you can release it. I got my skin of my finger caught in it.

Shouldn't have bought a knockoff Hozan.
Solid, nice feeling action, but the dies are cheaply machined compared to the Hozan P-707 that this is modeled after. Some of the dies are a little lopsided and overall the die profile is crude in comparison. The discard pile of buckled crimps starts adding up after a while.

Complete trash. Crimping pins wrong. There are cheaper and better analogs.

Great for automotive connectors
Worked as expected. Tool seems to be very well made.

Seems to be a good product
EDIT: Real world testing! I crimped 24 AWG standard tinned copper wire with classic soft PVC insulation and Molex 06-02-1116 crimp terminal, and a destructive tensile test of my very first crimp (of that part) using this tool led to a wire assembly break in the *middle of the wire*, NOT at the crimp or anywhere near the terminal. An excellent sign. FWIW, I used setting 1.4L (conductor) and 1.7 (insulation).*Original review below*I haven't run that many terminals through this thing yet, but from what I can tell the manufacturing quality seems to be good enough. The die profiles are smooth and fairly well-shaped (probably not as nice as a true OEM of course) but the ratchet release is not very easy to use.I really like that the terminal crimp and the insulation crimp are done separately. Much more flexible with different types of connectors and wires and easier to control. For generic/standard TE- or Molex-style open barrel (F-crimp) terminals on small wires, this is probably all that you need. For anything larger than 18 AWG, go with a different crimper.
