Web Camera 720P PC Camera USB HD Webcam Video Record with Microphone for Laptop Skype MSN…

I purchased this webcam because, for some reason that I will never understand, the engineers that designed my laptop positioned the webcam in the lower left corner. This means that anytime I try to use my actual laptop's camera, it creates the most unflattering image of me looking up and to the right. Ugh. This little webcam saved me once everything transitioned to video meetings. It is a nice, small size so that I can carry it around with me, it required no setup at all, I just plugged it into my laptop and it worked, and it is light enough to sit comfortably on my tiny computer. The only problem is that the contrast on the camera is very high, so when I am in a well-lit room, my face is just a white blob with little black dots for eyes. Usually it's very flattering, though.

The first thing I want to mention is that I only paid $10 for this camera.Before I ever read the "User's Guide" that comes with the camera, I plugged it in to my Mac mini and fired up Photo Booth. No problems there. It wasn't as sharp as I was hoping but it does work.The audio quality is actually pretty surprising. I guess after I saw the video quality I was afraid it was going to sound like I was in a tin can. As it turns out, for general purpose video chatting, it seems like the audio quality is, at the very least, acceptable. I wouldn't say it's on par with top dollar built-in microphones on todays laptops, but it was clear enough to carry on a conversation. And if you're really just looking for something to record quick voice memos or have a video chat, this will do it.

First time i plugged it in i was happy that it was plug and play - but then it was all downhill. The picture was okay, there are definitely better cameras nut my issue is the microphone didn't work. I ended up having to call into my zoom call to hear me. then i tried it again the next day and nothing. i deleted it from my devices and re-plugged it in with no luck. A waist of money for sure.

I really like this webcam. It does what I need it for, which is using as a webcam for my streaming on beam.pro, this webcam does wonderful and looks good and crisp at 720p. Which is fine for me since my face just sits in a bottom corner of my stream. I didn't need a webcam that's 1080p or high for that. Didn't need drivers, was completely plug and play. My kids play with it on facerig pro and they love it. Don't use the mic on the camera it's really crappy, I have a gaming headset that I use the mic on when streaming. The only bad thing about this camera is the stand, I don't like that it's not very adjustable and that the camera is very limited on the tiltability. Other than that it's an excellent webcam, well worth the $10 I paid for it.Pros- Nice quality. Plug & Play no drivers needed, small and lightweight.Cons- Small cord(not really a deal breaker). Lack of adjustable stand. Tiltability is not very good either. I easily would recommend this webcam to anyone I know or anyone looking for a webcam.

Like others said, sure as heck isnt 720P, which is a pretty strong falsehood, cant even find the settings to get that out of the camera as a still photo taker! On its smaller scale as its a beater camera, especially considering the price, it does work fairly well as a camera you dont mind wrecking. or just need a beater, like others have said and so will I, the video feed quality will NOT be high, since the resolution is low, but for its resolution size max, it can do a decent job, It has its place in the cheap abusable camera field, I just wish it had a quarter inch threaded nut in the base like most logitech's, but nothing a drill bit, some epoxy and 10 minutes of time is unable to fix.The ONLY reason it got more than a star, is I can still call it out on it having its place amoung beater cameras for projects you want a cheap camera in, I have put mine to use, video feed is allright enough for what I need it for, but I would appreciate it living up to its 720p hype.

I've been doing a lot of virtual meetings on my work lap top, but I wanted to use my desktop since it provides me with space to write and do other things. My desktop, which I custom built didn't have a mic or a camera, didn't think I would need it...who knew? But the video quality is great and my colleagues had not problem hearing me or understanding me without me having to yell or articulate each syllable.

I bought this for class, and it was advertised as HD, but there's no way to focus, the picture is incredibly grainy and this thing is only a foot away from me. If you want a camera that just shows people that you are there, then this is definitely a good cheap camera to buy, but if you want more than grainy images, you'll have to look elsewhere. Definitely getting a refund.

4/6/2017 - Seller has addressed my concerns regarding the product and was easy to work with.It's a $10 camera. Don't expect much from it besides being able to show your blurry face in a meeting. Camera doesn't appear to be 720p, technical specifications on provided document in box only suggests 640x480 resolution being available. No option in any of my video capturing software suggestions a higher resolution than 480p. Not surprised since it appears to be mass production Chinese no name camera. It works for my intended use but probably not for most people.
