Not really a low flow shower head but extremely great shower. Love it!

I was surprised that this Hansgrohe shower head had a PLASTIC body and plastic pipe threads. I thought Hansgrohe made higher quality products out of brass.

Been a contractor for over 40 years and we have worked our way through many various high-end plumbing fixtures. When it comes to showers, Hans Grohe has always been among the top tier products. This 8-inch shower head is intended to be installed in our yet to be finished master bathroom. The nice feature of this rain head is the rubber nozzles that allow a simple finger wipe to loosen and remove hard water deposits. The included installation directions offer another method of cleaning the nozzle by filling it with descaling fluid. This however requires removing the showerhead from its mount. Unless you live in an area with really hard water, it might not be an issue. The item has a brushed nickel finish. Although the back of the head is black plastic, it is typical of other Hans Grohe product we have installed over the years and does not indicate a knock-off product. The only concern we have is the tightness of the ball swivel that allows you to redirect the stream of water. It is exceptionally tight and resists movement. For us, not a problem because we intend to use it as a stationary rain head. There are screws on the back that will allow for loosening of the clamp pressure, thus allowing easier movement if desired. We look forward to the finished shower and the luxurious flow of water from our new Hans Grohe head.

This is a nice large showerhead, quality made. It is just the shower head - no other hardware is included, so you may need to purchase a longer arm to put it on if you are moving from a regular showerhead to this rain-style head. It has soft silicone nubs so you can easily remove hard water buildup that might accumulate inside. I love the brushed nickel finish. It's holding up fine. The listing description says there is a "range of spray modes" but I don't think there is with this design - it's just a rain showerhead. The back of the unit is black, which is interesting - we can't see if once installed but just something to be aware of if for some reason this showerhead might be viewed from above. Love that it has a lifetime warranty. Very nice, would recommend.

I was apprehensive replacing my name brand shower head with this since the back side of this is black plastic. After install I can not see the back of the shower head so it is a mute detail. The streams from the nozzles are firm and do not put a mist into the air. If I let it spray in the same spot it do get adequate fascia massage.It looks nice and blends nicely with my other brushed nickel hardware from other brands.The size is referencing the GPM flow of the head. There is no way to pop out the flow reducer without taking the shower head apart. The back black plastic does have screws to disassemble it.

It has a very good flow, but I hate plastic connector and I also noticed some squeaking sound while it runsNow I’m not sure it’s real Hansgrohe or just a cheap copy of it. I use this bran a lot and never had any problems
