Acceptable Infrared Heater with Garbage Instructions
Another Chinese made product that is of acceptable quality but which has assembly and operating instructions written by non-english speakers that is ambiguous, disorganized and misleading. The good news: It has a clean, uncluttered look and is light weight. It provides acceptable heat under certain conditions. The bad news: The heater is very directional by which I mean that you must be directly in line with the heater. The pictographs in the instruction booklet are misleading by suggesting that the heat travels from the heater and fans out as in a cone. It really doesn't. You must install the heater so that it is positioned like a sun lamp: Aim it (if possible) to hit you in the face. I purchased it so that I could work at my bench in my unheated garage without gloves in the winter. I have now positioned it approximately seven feet from where I usually stand at my bench on my left side. On "L3" (high), the heat is adequate only. The mounting brackets are thin stamped metal and flex. The angle of the mounting positions is not really "0 degrees" (Straight out from the wall) or 45 degrees (tilted half-way down) but more like 80 degrees from vertical and 40 degrees from horizontal. You should ignore the assembly instructions. The pictographs (think IKEA) call for bolting together the two pieces for each bracket before attaching it to the heater. You can only assemble the whole unit this way if you are a surgeon with X-ray vision. Attach only one part of the bracket to the wall using THREE (not only the two provided) screws, measure that distance and replicate it when attaching the second part of the brackets to the back of the heater. Then you can, with the assistance of your beloved spouse, bolt the unit to the wall brackets using the bolts and nuts provided. The heater comes with a cord of about 8 feet in length and a large warning tag that says not to use extension cords for reaching an outlet. It would have been nice to know this before I purchased the heater. The tag also commanded in all caps "DO NOT REMOVE THIS TAG" which caused me to immediately get some scissors and cut it off. This infrared heater is designed to heat objects not space. Keep that in mind when researching this product.

Works great so far
I have a large insulated garage for 3 vehicles and a workshop space and installed the Versonel heater on the ceiling in the workshop area. I didn't need to heat the whole garage, just the workshop space. The Versonel infrared heater works great for this, as it provides instant heat to you without trying to heat the surrounding air. I chose this heater because it was larger than others, even though it was more expensive. I tested it out before hanging it from the ceiling and found 8 feet away to be the most comfortable distance from heater. So based on that, hung it from the ceiling pointed down at the preset angle provided by the hanger brackets. I was able to easily install the heater attaching the brackets to the joists in the ceiling. If you want to heat a limited area for working in a garage, the Versonel heater is a great choice. The remote is easy to use and the heater seems to be well constructed. Hoping it will last a long time.

Great for outdoor spaces
Placed 2 of these in my covered 16' by 10' patio to take the bite out the chilly air. They were easy to install, and once I got them plugged in, the provided decent warmth to the space. For the money, they were great alternative other heating options. Great customer service too.

Good Value For the Price
Arrived on time and as described. Two heating units were initially purchased for testing. My installation is a wall mounted configuration in an open outdoor living space with 11' high ceilings. Both heaters functioned as expected except the Temp Up and Temp Down buttons were wired opposite in both units. It was easier to relabel the remote controls than send both units back for replacement. My third heater was just delivered - I am curious to see if factory quality control caught up with the internal heater wiring glitch. I love the fact that when power is turned on to the unit - the unit indicates power then requires pressing Temp Up on the remote three times to set to full heat - this minimizes power surge each time when starting the heater. All in all the units appear to be a good value for the price.

Best unit that I have tried.
This is a really nice unit and better than any of the other heating devices that I have tried. I particularly like the ability to ceiling mount the unit and have a remote control for the operation. The ability to "aim" the heat is really useful and the ability to choose from three levels of heat, let's me use it on chilly days with a lower setting. I give it four stars because the brackets supplied fall short when ceiling mounting and you will need to go buy some right angle stock and fabricate your own mounting solution. I constructed a 24 inch mount from the ceiling and used two of the supplied brackets at the ends to allow for angling of the heater. I now have two of these on my ceiling pointing to a common location in the garage. Creates a great warming area in front of the garage TV to relax in between work projects.

Nice Heaters for the $
We installed 2 of the heaters, one on each side of the wash bay in my barn. We bathe our horses regularly in the winter because of the sport we are involved in and they seem to radiate the heat off the horses well. They stand about 8 ft off the ground and the ability to angle them where you like is a nice feature along with the remote control. You can choose the level of heat you like which is nice as well.

Overall a good product and they look good too
Decent amount of heat for a small unit. We have two mounted outside on our patio. They will not keep an entire area warm but they do help take the nip out of the air. Overall a good product and they look good too.

Great Patio Heater!
This is a great little heater. They are well built and work as expected. I love the remote feature because I hung them high and it would be hard to reach the power switch otherwise. I purchased a cheaper unit but returned for this one and so glad I did. I bought two of them for two separate patios. They take the chill off and make it comfortable to sit on the patio.
