These work really well and it’s a good price point. Cleaned out my bathtubs. Found several what I believe to be an undocumented animals living in the drains.

When the drain slows way down it is hair. Pop off the grate and fish one of these down into the drain and pull out that soap scum covered hair. Drain works great. Don't keep putting harsh chemicals down the drain they are expensive and unnecessary.

This thing is huge! It's about 1/2" wide, too wide for my (Hansgrohe) bathroom sink drain. I put it down and it got caught in the stopper mechanism. I had to disassemble the stopper to get it out. It should be fine on a kitchen sink, tub, or toilet. The seller sent email twice asking if I was happy with it, but Amazon makes replies and email communication difficult. We eventually connected and he's been very helpful arranging a refund.

The 5 star is more for customer service than for the product, but sometimes, it's the customer service that makes it worthwhile trying a product. I found the teeth to be just a bit too wide and the handle just a bit too difficult to grasp and pull, but it can be done if you have stronger hands or wear protective gloves. I might give my gardening gloves a try next time. It was difficult to get the snake down the drain then it was even more difficult to get it back up. All of which I told the guy that sent me a letter asking me to review his product or to give him the chance to make it right before I gave a negative review. He responded by thanking me for my response and giving me a refund. My attitude is, I will happily give his other products a try. I will be confident their customer service people will actually care about any of my concerns. In the end the product does work if your drain opening is the right size and you can pull it out if your hands are stronger then my old arthritic hands.

Having long hair can sometimes be a bathroom nuisance because it does cause problems with the drains. In looking for a quick and easy solution I decided to try these drain snakes. They are packaged very nicely and 8 of them should last quite a long time. They are thicker than the last product I purchased, and worked very well in grabbing the hair clog.
