Daystar VooDoo Industries Recovery Rope 1300009, Green

Voodoo says this is made in USA and shows tags on product that state this, but that is clearly NOT the case anymore and they are being very dishonest in leading the customer into thinking this.It is deceptive to the customer and unfair competition to all the other brands that are truthful stating where their product is made, whether it is China or anywhere else. Maybe these ropes were initially made in USA, but they clearly are not anymore. And when inspected, the new ropes are clearly are being made with a few differences such as the fit and finish of the anti-chaffe liner (which is poorly fitted around the loop ends).Most of the other brands that state they are made in China are about 30% cheaper. Some people, like me, were willing to pay the extra 30% or so for the expectation that of an authentic, quality Made in USA product. If these ropes were formerly made in USA and this was changed to China, just be upfront about it! Voodoo is dishonest and this is the biggest disappointment with the rope.There.is another brand also sold on Amazon that states it is made in China, but fabricated to very exacting standards of quality by their USA designers and owners. I would be okay with that as it is honest and they have great reviews by actual owners who have used these ropes.I am likely going to send this Voodoo rope back and wait until the other brand is in stock again.

I watched every review on kinetic energy strap video/comparison and read every forum! I compared price, performance, reputation, and warranty. I settled on the Voodoo product for my choice, it arrived two days later (during the COVID epidemic) and the quality is superb! The splice is very clearly tapered inside and the quality is beautiful! The bag is decent for not knowing it came with one. I am so happy i did not buy one of these from some no name brand at a similar price. Price is great, product looks better! ( will update when it gets used)

I used this to pull my friends 91 Bronco out of a bark pile using my F150. It was sitting on the frame. Worked great.

I've used this rope to get me out of stuff i would have been stranded in with a normal strap. I've yanked the front end of a full size dodge 90° through sand and then up a hill. You're probably thinking this is expensive for a rope but once you've been yanked by it and didnt have your fillings and frame knocked out you will understand how worth it it really is. If there was a 6th star I would give it to it.

Unfortunately had to use this rope within a couple months of getting it as insurance (someone else was stuck). Got them out, and Daystar/Voodoo support is awesome and responsive as well

Just got it so not used it yet but seems to be very good quality. Nice bag with extra space and pockets. Also got a sticker and a little voodoo doll.

Fantastic product. Well packaged, looks good, obviously well made, and gets the job done.

This is my second one. Great recovery rope. Stretches out when pulled so you don’t jerk the vehicles. Helps to limit damage to vehicles.
