Unique LoomSofia Collection Area Rug - Salle Garnier (2' x 6' 7" Runner, Blue/ Ivory)

This is a very pretty rug! Love the colors and while thin, it's actually perfect with a rug pad. It was unfortunate that it was rolled up (actually awkwardly folded and bent) prior to shipping with a tremendous lack of care. There was no way the creasing would come out. The line was so deep in one area that it split the rug fibers in different directions. In the photo, you can see on the left was when I just received and on the right was a few days later after I placed a giant sofa box on it. Even that didn't work. This could have been completely avoided if someone actually took the time to simply roll it correctly. It was delivered on time and no issue aside from this problem so I did return. Reordered the same rug at a different vendor who I normally shop with and always ships rugs with care. No problem at all in that case and I do think overall the product is nice but the method packages was terrible.

Before I bought this I read a lot of the product reviews. Most of the customers did not like the rug because it was a thinner rug. (Higher quality rugs are way more expensive.) I did not want to pay a high price. Some people did not like the way it was shipped because they could not get the wrinkles out because it was so tightly rolled. (They have to ship it somehow.) None of that deterred me from really just loving the look of this rug so I ordered it anyway. The rug was delivered with fast shipping. I quickly unrolled it. The rug really did not have a wrinkle issue. Yes, it did have a chemical smell to it so I kept it unravelled and turned my ceiling fan on to help it air out for a day. The rug is fine now.All in all, my own measurements were not great and that is my fault. I could not put it under my kitchen table like I wanted but found a nice place for it in the master bedroom. It is a thin rug but you could definitely put a rug mat under it so it does not slide and it will probably feel thicker in a sense. The rug is actually quite soft to the touch. It is meant to look distressed so if you are looking for something that absolutely has to be uniform in color and design this is not for you. If you like the distressed look this one is for you.In my opinion, for the price and look I wanted, I am totally happy with my purchase. I am glad that I took a chance on it.

The rug is beautiful. But...I purchased this same exact rug through amazon back in March but from a different seller (A2Z Rug) and it looked exactly like this except it did NOt have wrinkles. It was also shipped in a box, this one from unique loom came wrapped in one layer of plastic and was terribly rolled so now I have a ton of wrinkles to deal with. I'm debating returning this and asking for a non wrinkled rug. I attached photos of both. I do love the rug I purchased in march. It didn't smell and it rolled out fine. For $150 it was perfect for my sewing room. This recent one is soft but not like Persian rug soft, it's only $150 so expect that quality. For a farmhouse chic look being inexpensive it's great! But these wrinkles man... it even dented the fibers too so yeah.. kinda crappy. As for the photos- the first two compare the wrinkles (first one from a2z second one from unique loom) the 3rd and 4th show design color. And the last two photos are the wrinkle issue.

I'm updating my cabin and I thought this was a steal. Shop somewhere else. This rug is so warped. I can't tell if it stretched or shrank but the edges aren't square and the thin material is wavy and deformed. Half of it has relaxed out a bit but one side is still pretty terrible. Luckily I could cover it with a couch.

Took a long time to decide on this rug from all the others on Amazon, but we are so happy we chose this one. The distressed look matches our red mahogany farmhouse table and white chairs so well. (See Image)We struggled with what size to get. But the 8x10 size we ordered turned out to be the perfect size since it allows the chairs to be moved back without dropping off the edge of the carpet.It's very soft. Can't comment on how long it will last and all that, but it's in an area that doesn't get much traffic.UPDATE: Now that we've had it for a while, the edge that gets sun is starting to curl and warp. It will need carpet tape or to be replaced early, which would be sad since otherwise it looks like new. Knocked off one star.Only complaint is that is still has a little bit of a curl in it, even after several weeks of being flattened on the floor.

Perfect addition to my living room plus I received it an entire week early! Will defintely order from Unique Loom again!

This rug is stunning. I've only had it two weeks and we've gotten tons of compliments on it. Nobody can believe what we paid for it! It pulls together our formal living room perfectly and adds the touch we we were looking for.

Actually a pretty nice rug. It comes rolled up around a cardboard tube. So why does it have to be completely smashed flatter than a pancake for shipping? We're going to have to use weights to stretch it to get rid of the horrible wrinkles. Don't buy this unless you're prepared for a lot work to straighten it out.Update weeks later. You CANNOT get rid of the wrinkles in this rug. We tried and tried but they are there forever due to the way it was shipped. DON"T BUY THIS!! You will regret it if you do.

Used two of these area rugs beside each other in areas under a very large cottage picture window. The colours are very true to amazon's representation on their web page, with the position of the sun in the sky turning alternating areas slightly lighter or darker and making the patterns even more interesting. There were absolutely no issues with packaging and no issues with memory retention due to being rolled up too tightly or too long (as others stated). Very important - our dog loves them!

Tapis beau et facile d'entretien mais petit ik il a mal été coupé et si vous regardez bien ça fait des petites vagues. on le voit bien sur la couture du tapis qu'elle n'est pas droite.
