24x36 Silver Aluminum Snap Frame

I absolutely love these frames! I am an avid gamer and display any merch I get from events, beta tests and cosplay. I came across these frames while I was panic shopping after a poster was damaged due to being knocked off the wall. The poster is no longer in print and cannot be replaced. (Who knew that the plastic on typical poster frames could splinter and slice the poster beneath it.) I did have my doubts as alpine’s frames look very bulky. I was worried about installing them myself. I’m a gamer, not a carpenter, so I spent hours price checking and sizing each competitor against alpine’s frames and you won’t get a better deal. Even Walmart is $60 a frame for just a regular metal frame - no snap. So I squeezed my eyes tightly closed while I quickly clicked the button and began to held my breath as I waited for my shipment to arrive. Luckily, the shipping was VERY fast and the frames are the exact opposite of what I assumed from the pictures on Amazon. Let me tell you, I hung them by myself, without struggling. I’m 5’8 and 129 lbs, technically a small framed female. No bulky, awkward frame to struggle with. I will say that getting the first one up took a learning curve as I didn’t have someone to hold the frame and keep it steady. I used a pencil to outline the corner so it was visible while I held the frame steady with the top my my head, holding the center of the frame against the wall. I then screwed in the lower right and the upper left screws and that steadied the frame to be permanently mounted. Thank the universe for electric screwdrivers! You will not be disappointed, I started with 1 and ended up buying 4 more a day later. I am on here typing out this review because I just bought 4 more! I am replacing every frame with these because the ease of use (ie: removing and replacing poster) and the security of the frame is unmatched - did I mention the price!? Also, I’m not sure they intended to make the face film (the vinyl sheet covering the poster) versatile by giving it a matte face on one side and glossy on the other, but it’s absolute genius. Gives this girl some room for changes in textures due to glares and or just an indecisive mind. Thank you Alpine, I will keep you in my lists and send you people who treasure their gaming art!

I don't usually write reviews, but these poster frames are amazing! I wasn't sure if these would work for some of the Mondo posters I had ordered recently. I ordered one frame in February 2020 to check it out and the frame fit the poster perfectly! I ordered 4 more in June 2020, and unfortunately 2 frames out of the 4 arrived damaged. I contacted Alpina who had 2 replacement frames out to me that same week. I was floored at how professional and quick they were. It really means something to find a company that really cares about their product. Since June 2020 I swap and rotate posters around, and opening these frames is simple and straightforward. I try to be as careful as I can when closing, because they "snap" shut. Watch your fingers when closing! The plastic overlay is a non glare type and looks great!I used 3M command photo strips to adhere these frames to the wall. 8 strips might be overkill, but they have been holding well for several months. Overall, I highly recommend these frames. They look great, are easy to change out posters and really easy to clean.

This frame is so easy to use. The edge pieces pop up so you just place the picture inside and pop the the edges back down & BOOM!!! You are done. The last time I bought a frame this size, you had to line up everything perfectly, then try to slide the edge pieces back into place, SEPARATELY, without everything getting crooked. When you were finally done the edges would still slip and fall off. This frame is all ONE piece. It is amazing. All frames should be made this way.

Great frames! Good quality and very easy, durable snap system. I ordered and returned several others because the seams didnt match and overlay was scratched. So worth paying the shipping! Cant wait to get on the walls

For the money this is a great frame. Would definitely buy another one.

It looks amazing and the poster really looks phenomenal inside of it. I didn't even realize that the plastic has two sides to it, a matte and a glossy finish, but I'm so glad it did bc I love the matte look!

This is a great frame, but the screws were missing...

These things will likely outlast me. They look like regular frames and are easy to change the artwork out of. I'm planning on buying a few more for around my house.
