Whitehall Products Decorative Wall Eagle, 24-Inch, Antique Brass

When I was growing up in the 80’s we lived near a lot of WWII vets and people of that generation that had eagles on their houses to show that they had paid off their mortgage. When we become free of a mortgage payment I put this on the front of our house. It’s a little bigger and heavier than I expected but I would buy it again and again. It’s well made and comes in two pieces, goes together easy, hangs easily and looks great. Younger people will say cool eagle but older folks will sometimes start with a congratulations.

I mounted this on the end of a tiny home vacation spot, up in the gable above the windows. With the look of 3d not just a picture, what an outstanding personation. Actually it is awesome, makes for high end look.

The eagle wall plaque shipped the same day I ordered it and arrived within a few days. It was packaged well, no damage, and the wing attached easily. This is a very nice piece of art. Beautifully crafted and the antique bronze finish is top notch. In fact, this eagle is actually too nice to put outside but that's where it's "landing." A tad pricey but ain't everything these days. I'm happy with it and look forward to proudly displaying this symbol of freedom.

Great quality, big size and heavy

I ordered this to hang above the door to my house. Sadly, my measurements were a bit off and it didn’t fit, so I decided to gift it to a family member.However, this eagle was great. It had some weight to it and felt sturdy. The hooks on the back (one on the separate wing and one on the wing attached to the bird body) are attached well and allows you to either hang it directly on the wall or hang it from a chain. If you do decide to use a chain, be careful as this has some weight to it and a strong wind could bang it around.One of the wings attaches with two screws, and I must say this is where this bird loses a star. The screws that come with the eagle are pretty cheap and stripped when I was attempting to attach the wing. This left a bit of a gap between the bird and the wing, which was kind of a bummer. I didn’t get new screw before I gave it away, but I feel with better quality screws, it would work out fine.
