Very beautiful well worth the $
We bought 8 sets of these to adhere to our front newel posts at the bottom of the porch stairs. We are going to surround them with simple and elegant moulding to create a classic and historically beautiful look. The quality and craftsmanship of these carved pieces are amazing for the price. To me they look like carved wood, I was expecting a plastic thing but they are not.We are extremely happy with them!

raw/rough surface
The dimensions and style were the appealHowever, one item was made of two pieces of wood glued together which is ok if you’re painting, but stain will show this.These are NOT ready for paint or stain (my biggest issue) there is sanding needed in and around all surfaces. Be prepared to spend a lot of time prepping. And, be willing to accept rough surfaces in the high detail areas.Photo shows before and after sanding - will continue effort.
