Acme Tornado 635 Pealess Whistle

Since I had a specific purpose for the whistle and did not receive what was pictured, I returned it.

This is a great whistle to have when you are refereeing games in a complex where multiple games are going on at the same time. Up close it sounds like pretty much evety other pealess whistle, but once you move away you get a little more of a hollow train whistle sound. It is distinct and essy to pick up. Like other pealess whistles, the harder you blow the louder it gets. I love the design and sound.

As a soccer ref I always need a whistle that sounds unique, easy to blow, loud and comfortable to hold. This checks off all these marks. I love the acme whistles

I'm both a USSF Grade 7 and NFHS soccer varsity official. Thought to try this pealess whistle. I can't make it as loud nor alter the tone as easily as my Fox40 pealess. It's okay, but I don't plan to use it.

I am a soccer official and get lots of compliments from other officials about how loud my whistle sounds. Be careful not to blow it too close to players. Use a wrist lanyard with this whistle and you won't be disappointed.
