I've you've ever spent time trying to open switches with tweezers or any other pointy tool, you'll know how frustrating it is to open even a few switches. I was iffy on paying the price for this tool, but once I did, I could not imagine myself without this tool. Saved so much time and hassle.

Works amazing, look as it is shown, well built

As someone that's been lubing without this tool for some time, I can definitely say that this helped it go by faster. The main difference with this tool is the fact that the switch's bottom half doesn't get stuck in it, saving you time and hassle. Separating switches at the beginning of the process can be very annoying, and I think this does a great job of handling it. Getting it almost makes me want to lube switches just because I have it!

Have used this opener over and over again. Extremely reliable, quick, convenient and comfortable. Couldn't recommend it more to open the MX style switches.

Works perfectly fine with Hall Effect Switches, however, you need to be careful when using this with regular 3-5pin switches as you could easily pop a hole out of the bottom of the switch depending on what stems are used.

The Gateron switch opener is so much better than traditional box style tools. It's almost impossible to damage the legs on the top housing with it and works much faster. If you find yourself modding switches on a regular basis and are looking for an upgrade to your kit, this is a must have item.

If you are trying to lube 100 switches and you plan to do it again, I would recommend you pick this up. All of the other switch openers don't put pressure in the right spots or it hurts your fingers after opening just 10 of them. This thing cracks them open in a fraction of the time and saves your fingers
