I took a risk and purchased 900 square feet of this underlayment to put down vinyl plank flooring across the majority of my house. Upon receiving it I was pretty satisfied with the quality of the material, and how deadened the sound was when walking over it. It's thin, but it makes a pretty huge difference.Another benefit of the material is how it "smooths" imperfections in the subfloor. My subfloor is made of OSB and is overall flat, but with a slightly roughed up surface. This makes the subfloor almost perfectly flat by evening out the surface with its foam layer, making the vinyl lock in place easier and sturdier. I should note the imperfections are more due to the nature of how OSB, versus the smoothness of plywood.From checking local hardware stores, this seems to be the best price for this type of flooring underlayment.

I decided to take on a project of putting in laminate flooring. I saw that there were a lot of choices for underlayments and they are somewhat pricy depending on the brand you go with. I found these on Amazon and decided to give it a chance. I'm happy to report that it worked out very good. I was working by myself which I don't recommend as it was a tad hard to get it unrolled and keep it in place so I could cut it. But I managed and in the end I got almost two rooms completed with the 3 rolls. I ended up needing on more 100ft roll and found that on Amazon as well. So two rooms and a partial hallway completed and it looks and feels nice under my feet. I was very happy to not have to run around to various stores to find this stuff. Installing the flooring was very hard work and any items that could be shipped to me was a huge help!

It’s foam padding. It’s a moisture barrier. But it’s not great at either. For its price, it gives you a bare level of those 2 things.Make sure you buy the “seam tape” (mine was a red color) alongside this stuff. If it accidentally rips (and it will) you’ll want to tape over that hole or rip.The sticky strip that comes built into the side of it is decently sticky. The flimsy plastic film that is suppose to stick TO that sticky strip is slight difficult to manage - but it gets the job done.Again - for the price you’re paying - it’s decent. But then again - if you had more money - you would’ve gone with the flooring that has padding built into it.

Good product, but the adhesive strip pulled off on all 3 rolls so had to tape them together. Not that big of a deal, but wanted to let people know you need separate tape.

This is far cheaper than buying from the local big box stores. The quality feels better than what I had already bought locally.I am installing laminate flooring throughout my entire home and will be ordering more of this.

This product is excellent for the price. You can buy underlayment for much more money and get a thicker underlayment. So depending on your price range, this is a good inexpensive product.

Super easy to install just make sure that you have the tape facing the right direction when you lay it down

I recommend this, the price is great got to my house very fast and worked great. Good quality got my floors done and it was a lifesaver.
