Ignore all of the reviews of people claiming these stylus do not fit their New 3ds XL. They did not pay attention to the product they purchased before they bought it.If you own the small New 3ds, with the interchangeable coverplates, then these stylus will fit perfectly and work just like the original.

firstly, because this seems to be the biggest gripe - these styluses are for the "NEW NINTENDO 3DS", not the older metallic "Nintendo 3DS" or the larger "New Nintendo 3DS XL". yes, the confusion is mostly nintendo's fault, but sometimes it's important to read listings carefully and do research if you're unsure what it is you're buying.i have a NEW NINTENDO 3DS, which i purchased pre-owned with a missing stylus. this listing is the only one i've been able to find for this model at a normal price, and not ridiculously gouged or discontinued on other sites, which was a big plus already!the product arrived safely and in its original packaging, and it fits my NEW NINTENDO 3DS perfectly. as a disclaimer - i don't know how the original stylus fit in the console, since i'd never had one, but these replacements are a little fickle in that the flat head doesn't align perfectly with the notches on the system. it's definitely only a minor annoyance, and doesn't keep the styluses from staying put at all.the only thing that made me knock a star off of these is that mine came with manufacturing errors - the head of the red stylus seems to have gotten smashed during production, and the white one has a cleft in a similar area. the faults don't impede its use in any way, so there's no need to exchange them.

Fits tighter than the OEM stylus, which is a good thing because the OEM one kept falling off

I bought this for my 3DS XL and while it does work with the touch screen it doesn't fit into the 3DS XL's slot.

The media could not be loaded. If you’re in need of a new stylus for your Nintendo New 3DS (regular, not XL), then this works perfectly. Exactly what I was looking for and now I have two extra in case one is misplaced.

Obviously it could never be exactly as the original pens, but it’s a very good fit, it holds itself well in the 3DS, and it’s very soft to the screen. I really liked it, it’s worth it.PS: it’s for New 3DS only. Please be sure about your 3DS edition before buying a product for your 3DS

Please do not waste your money on these. Starting off the packaging looked and sounded like it's been stored poorly and the plastic was brittle. The black stylus pen was completely broken as seen in photo and the fitment is NOT good as you can see in other photo. It's the wrong diameter and falls in and out, the butt end doesn't even line up properly with the *new* 3ds body. I tried it on my other DS systems and this doesn't fit right with any of them, not sure what type of scam product this was intended to be.I am not a chronic negative reviewer like a lot of people, but this one is beyond terrible. Definitely asking for a refund.

The media could not be loaded. The post advertises that it would fit a 3DS as you can see in the pictures it does not! Can easily fall out and sometimes it doesn’t even recognize that the screen is being touched
