Keyboard Replacement Without Frame Compatible with Asus n53 k54l x55 x55u x55a x54c x54h x55vd x55c f55 f75 R500D R500DE R500N Series Laptop Black US Layout

this keyboard looks and works well on asus x55a. my keyboard was losing keys and had spills and crumbs under the keys and it was long past due for replacement. gives laptop extended life. does anyone know if the "chicklet" keyboard that this company sunmall provides can be used with an x55a laptop? since the swap was so easy, i may try that one also if it will work. look up youtube video on how to replace, no screws need to be taken out. i should have done this replacement long before.

It is the same as the keyboard I needed to replace on my N53JQ. The switch out was so easy and it works as it should. It arrived a couple days after they initially said but with everything that is going on it is completely understandable.

My aging laptop keyboard was beginning to give me fits. I ordered this replacement keyboard, and after watching a Youtube video on how to replace the keyboard on my model, the whole process took less than 10 minutes and the replacement worked flawlessly.

I bought one of these recently. This was a second of the exact same one that I ordered for this old laptop. The first provided good service for a couple of years. This second one has sticky keys, and misses many letters and number presses on the keypad. It is extremely annoying. I've reseated the cable a couple of times, yet it I still have this issue. I am going to try another brand.

The only reason I haven't given it a 5-star rating is because I do not know how long it will last. If it keeps working like it does, I'll come back and up the grade in a couple of years.

Came the next day after ordering. Very easy to install. WORKS GREAT !!! Had so many keys not working properly. Why didn't I do this sooner. Thanks !!

It worked out great right off the bat but the keys started to get louder and squeaky after about a week.

I've changed a lot of keyboards in laptops. This was the easiest ever. No screws to deal with. I only needed a small flathead screwdriver to pry it out. I would recommend checking out a youtube video to see it done. The laptop it went into is an ASUS X55C.
