Ball Electric Canner

It's what my daughter wanted to help with her canning in the summer time.

Wow! This has totally changed my water canning. So much easier and safer. No big mess. Wish I bought it sooner. Canned tomatoes, chutneys, pickles and more this season.

The value of it was worth the money and I will use it for many many years. The quality was great and durable. It was very easy to clean

Have used it twice , and easy to use, does not heat up the kitchen.

The best part is the water drain that you can put next to a sink and easily drain without having to lift it. Only issue I've had is it sometimes temporarily stops boiling, so you have to watch it.

One word. OBSESSED.

Living in Texas, most of our produce and fruit comes ready in summer. Summer is hotter than hells front porch. ……So, canning is sometimes a decision I opt out of due to heat in the house. It’s only spring here so temps are only around 80 but this canner has already proved it is worth it to me!!While I am cooking my jam on the stove I don’t have the traditional canner pot of boiling water steaming right in front of me. Much much more comfortable with this appliance several feet away by the sink. And it heats the water to a boil Way faster than my stove. 100% recommend!!! I’ve already made three batches each of apricot and blueberry jams. And pickles are next on my agenda! So happy to see home canned goods on my pantry shelves again.
