Wonderful!
Excellent product. Heats up fast, takes half as long to cook as the conventional stoneware. Only draw back is there is no handle on top of the glass top. You have to use oven mitts to take the glass top off using the side handles, which are HOT.

Best small multifunction kitchen appliance
I have been looking for a replacement for my Rival slow cooker that got broken 15 years ago. This is the same design and works as well. I have used it to make Ham & Bean soup, Grilled Cheese Sandwiches, Pot Roast, French Toast, etc. The griddle is easy to clean with just a wet rag or paper towel and the pot and lid are dishwasher friendly. I have a casserole carrier that fits around this just fine. It is easy to move from the house to the camp trailer.I would recommend this product to everyone looking for small multifunctional kitchen appliances.

Almost perfect
This slow cooker is almost perfect. I bought it for my Mom, and she's very happy with it. The size is nice for a single person or a couple - not too big though big enough for a whole chicken or several servings of soup/stew. It is lightweight (unlike a crock pot), cooks quickly, is easy to clean, and does not burn despite the heat coming from the bottom. My Mom especially likes the number of graduated heat settings. I would rate it 5 stars if it had a handle on the lid. Lifting the lid from the sides exposes your hands to steam, so you need to be careful. It is also awkward to take the lid off, put it down, and put it back on. You must use two hands. My own slow cooker from a different manufacturer has a large non-metal knob. I can lift the lid with one hand (no pot holder), stir with the other, and easily replace the lid. I chose this one instead of one like mine due to the smaller size.

The price is very reasonable and love the color
My mom bought me one of these years ago and I used it all the time . I bought this one so I could have one at camp and one at home. this is not your average slow cooker the heating goes from one to six and six will boil potatoes . It is very handy as the top can be used as a serving dish which is so handy and at camp we use the base to cook eggs and pancakes . Once you buy one of these you won't be able to live without it . The price is very reasonable and love the color .

Really nice unit
This is one really nice unit. I like the fact that it has 6 heat levels instead of the normal 3 and the pot comes off so it can be cleaned easily. I cooked up some Chili the other day and it came out great. After cooking I set it on low and it kept the food warm without burning. The only thing is I wish it had rubber on the lid handles so you could pick it up without gloves but that's a minor problem. As long as it holds up it will be a good buy.

A favorite cooker
I have a West Bend 6-Quart cooker that I purchased perhaps 25 years ago. It proved to be a very wise purchase. I had hoped to find it again and was so surprised to find this one! It may have a different name tag, but seems to be the same item. It is even red, which I use a lot in my kitchen. I especially like the lid that serves as a serving dish as well. It's already hot, so keeps the food hot longer than using another dish. My only problem is that there is no wire rack in it. The old one I have is about 1/4 inch too long.

Great Replacement for West Bend Crock pot with the blue ...
This is exactly like my old West Bend Crock pot with the blue carrier I had for 25+ years and LOVED so much! So pleased I read the new West Bend reviews and purchased this Eurolux one instead. It has uncanny similar design and my old blue West Bend carrier and blue plastic crock lid work perfectly. Great replacement substitute for the price ($30ish) versus an all new West Bend crock pot with carrier combination ($65ish).

I'm worried that the knob could be easily knocked off the stem and break off
Have used it once so I'm still in the testing stage. Seemed to take a long time to get the full crock of chicken soup with lots of chicken chunks and veggies to heat on highest level to a simmer. Once it did the base heated the soup so well I had to turn it down to a "3" or a little less to keep it simmering and not boiling over or burning. Next time I will heat up the filled pot first on the stove top to a boil and then transfer it to the griddle base to cut down on the cooking time. I think that is what I use to do with my old West Bend that was similar, and that process worked well. The only concern I have is that the temperature control knob on the base sticks out, seems loose and is not flush/snug up against the base. I'm worried that the knob could be easily knocked off the stem and break off. My old West Bend's base was identical to this and the knob did not stick out nor was it loose like this. Has anyone else had this issue?(12/25/17) Just got a response from another buyer. My suspicion was confirmed. The cooker I have is defective and the temperature control knob stem is not properly functioning. I thought it was odd that the cooker arrived not double boxed and in only the manufacturer's display box. I suspect it probably was damaged in shipping. I am trying to get in touch with the store and get it exchanged for a new unit without having to return it and pay the current increase inn price of $12.00.
