Great feeder
This feeder has been working well and runs efficiently on a single charge. The electrified cage keeps the varmints away and it has multiple settings to allow for tuning the feed times. Holds a large volume of corn and I only have to fill it once every couple of months

Easy to Buld & Doesnt burn through batteries.
Did an excellent job last deer season. It doesnt burn through batteries at all, stayed air type to keep animals and moisture out. Will be setting it back up for season #2 soon.

You won’t be sorry
Solid piece of equipment. I actually broke the shaft changing the batteries and Moultrie replaced the part under warranty. C’mon that’s some serious customer service. Go for it.

Sturdy, incomplete, and check other places for price
First time set up was easy and looks great and strong...would of given 5 stars but had to go out and buy more stuff to get it running....battery, solar charger, just to finish the setup. Would of been happy if this was all Included for the price it was....Academy Sports has it 20 dollars cheaper..FYI

3 years in and still working well!
I bought this when I moved in three years ago to keep the deer entertained away from my bird feeders. It also works well to keep them in a huntable area of the property. I've changed the battery once in that time frame. I feed twice a day, so I think the battery life has been excellent. As noted, you will need to adjust the feeding schedule occasionally to compensate for daylight patterns. I did have some creature attempt to chew it's way in through the lid on top but it never got in and gave up. Overall I have nothing bad to say about this. I bought the Pro 2 model. I was initially skeptical about the durability of the plastic spinner but it has held up well. The only issue I get is that it occasionally gets clogged at the gravity feed nozzle. I quick jostle and it's back functional again. I think this has more to do with corn quality though than the actual feeder. Hope this helps you make your decision. I am one who investigates things ad nauseum before making a purchase and I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.

Good, Basic Deer Feeder for Backyard Amusement
I bought the basic version a few months ago. It was easy to set up and has held up well in wind and rainstorms.I've replaced the AA batteries twice. It seemed sometimes to not activate on the schedule but new batteries seem to solve that issue.Deer feed on a schedule related to sunrise/sunset but this timer is static...so you may want to adjust several times a year. I find it easiest to wait until the feeder is almost empty to lower it on its side and adjust the timings. Unfortunately, if you try to remove the timer/spreader in the vertical position, corn will pour out...it's a gravity feed.If you struggle lift 40 lb. bags of deer corn to fill the hopper, you can use a bucket to easily lift up managable amounts.I added the varmint guard II and the "feet" extensions and don't regret that!Living next to a golf course, deer are always present. I would rather watch them eat the corn rather than eating my hydrangeas. If you can't beat 'em...
