One of the best coffee table size book of photos on the Apollo missions ever published. Also includes pre and post-Apollo chapters loaded with beautiful photographs of Mercury, Gemini, Skylab, Shuttle and the International Space Station. From a graphics standpoint, this book is very nicely laid out with tiny thumbnail photo descriptions of the following few pages worth of full page photos. Finall, the book is enclosed in a thick board slipcase with die-cut phases of the Moon that cleverly allow the book cover's lunar surface image to show through.My one very minor complaint is that some photos mostly involving the Lunar Module on the Moon seem to have the color and contrast boosted.

P.189..looks like broken pieces of pottery cemented on basalt.

My husband loves space science and is an engineer. He loves this book. I bought it without the benefit of reviews for him and was glad I did. So I am writing a review so you will know that, if you are looking for a book that an intelligent space science person will enjoy, go for it!

Despite being a paperback edition the book is of very good quality. I think it is not necessary to pay the extra 90 dollars to get the hardcover edition. This edition is really good.I am very happy with my purchase.

This book is well worth the money, it is an incredible collection of pictures, very interesting and informative, with an overview of each Apollo mission and some additional pictures from Gemini, Shuttle, and ISS.The book itself is high quality with a nice slipcase that should help it last for many years.

This Book brings back alot of memories for me. I watched all of the Apollo missions when I was a kid and this book takes me back in time. These pictures are taken with the hasselblad camera and WOW did it perform. A must have for any enthusiast that's interested in the history of man's experience on the Moon.

Outstanding writing, beautiful photos. Would like to have explanation for photo on p2 and a few others, but on the flip side, it is interesting to have a few mysteries to figure out.
