I bought this to attach under a kitchen cabinet as I didn’t want anything on the worktop. I tried the adhesive pad at first to avoid screwing and this did last quite a long time (longer than expected, about a month). But then I came down on morning and it had dropped down. Now it’s been screwed on since and it’s not moved.One thing to note is that the tube of the kitchen roll needs to be quite small as otherwise they spin round the ratchet part. I bought some rolls from Morrisons and they do not fit at all whereas aldi kitchen roll is completely fine and works great. Going to be honest it’s not a deal breaker in anyway it’s just something to be mindful of!

Really well-designed paper towel holder - much sturdier than I expected for the money. It was well packaged and came with good quality fixings too and clear instructions. I screwed it into the end of our island unit - didn't use the supplied fixings as they were too long, but used shorter, fatter screws but with the supplied screw covers - easy to fit and looks good. Most importantly, it works! The towel fits neatly on with a bit of a push and it doesn't run all over the place - one sheet tears off at a time nicely because the ratchet action holds it in place. And my work surface is now clear. Would strongly recommend - time will tell if it keeps working, but it's got my vote at the moment.

Hubs installed this with his own screws, ones provided were not suitable, but he got it up okay. However, the 'ratchet system' that this is supposed to have, and why I bought this ... did not work from the get go. Not sure why, or if this is a faulty one, but as they say ... it is what it is. It is still useable but am a tad annoyed the feature it was bought for doesn't work. It's not worth my time, or hassle, to post it back for a refund ...

This product keeps our kitchen counter tidy and saves us from the hassle of the standup holder falling over and the inability to plug off a towel sheet one-handed. I like the option to install it either by self-adhesive or by screws. I have used the screw option. It is a brilliantly-implemented idea and I was hoping to find a toilet roll-holder similar to it.

This product, as other reviewers have said is an amazing kitchen roll holder. I'm so glad I bought it. Great for one handed operation and it's actually making us use less roll for each activity. I chose to use screws to fix it under my cupboard rather than the sticky pad, but that was just personal preference. Bit tricky with the angles, but managed it without too much hassle. Would highly recommend.
