Pacona Shoe Brush Set (Medium)

From a simple paper clip (Alco), pen ( Schneider), everyday underwear (Hermko) to a tap (Grohe), the Germans always excel in design, function and quality!!These simple tools are no different, they have made the task so much more efficient and enjoyable, I can't believe the huge difference between these horsehair bristles compare to my previous set made with manmade bristles. Although a bit more expensive than the commonly available variants widely available in the UK, they still represent excellent value for money considering how pleasant they are to use, without any doubt, they will last a long time if well looked after.If you value your expensive shoes and also seek frustration-free maintenance, this set would make a great investment. A bit of hair may fall out but that is actually quite natural and not a sign of defect.

A great set of brushes. The applicator brushes do just what they should, and the buffing brushes are comfortable to hold, with curved handles. They are of good quality and the bristles do not damage footwear. A few bristles come out but not many and this is to be expected with horsehair. I am very pleased with them and with the price paid. A few retailers sell similar sets for massive markups in comparison. I highly recommend these brushes.

Bought these just to have something ok to do the job with when a more deluxe version was unavailable, at a price that wouldn't be too painful to lose if they turned out to be glorified nailbrushes. Just opened them now and so pleased - proper shoe brushes. The bristles on all four are longer, softer and more densely packed than the photo suggests, and seem sturdily attached to their base. Those on the buffer brushes mirror the shallow curve of the handles so they handle well and are furthermore a good working size. The wood is a darker, more mahogany, colour than the pale oak in the picture. They're not top of the range royal valet standard, but fully expecting to get good use from them. I do hope the seller will return to sending them to Ireland again when all this Brexit angst is sorted out.

Two large buffing brushes that fit nicely in a large hand and two polish applicator brushes for brown and black polish. All brushes seem so far to be great quality and the kit comes in a very robust cardboard storage box, great for a suitcase. There's just enough room in the box for small tins of brown and black polish. This item would make a great gift to either gender and wonderful gift for someone just about to join the armed services. As an ex-serviceman myself I would have loved this as a gift.

This product is a quality brush set with fully loaded bristles, quality wood handles and a good design for a comfortable grip. The price I paid was £14.50 and I feel this was good value for money. So often you get brushes with little bristle content and you scratch the shoe with the bottom of the handle, not in this case. I would have no hesitation to buy this product again.

Better than expected

Very happy with my purchase. Really like having separate polish application brushes. Just what I wanted.

I spent a fair bit of time shopping around to find the ideal shoe brushes, that would last the test of time and I have to say these are well worth the money. Great look and beautifully soft horse hair bristles. Leave your shoes with a great shine. Don't worry if you see a few hairs coming loose this is inevitable. I recommend washing the applicator brushes after use to keep them soft and easy to use.
