I bought this for my grandson who is 3 and he loves to build things or fix things useing tools. So this absolutely worked out great. He loves it. He plays with it every time he comes over for hours and doesn’t even care about all his other toys or even his favorite cartoons.

Really nice set but in my personal opinion it’s not for kids under 5. This has really tiny pieces so we never gave it to our 3 year old. She is good about things in the mouth but the tiny little pieces made me nervous. The set itself is really neat definitely a cool toy and would be great for an older child not a toddler.

This was a gift for a 5 year old. After batteries were installed the drill worked at first but soon stopped. Returning item to Amazon.

For the budding engineer lets kids explore how gears work by letting them build their own designs right down to the length of chain to put together to fit their creation. I like how it used the storage case for the base to build on and comes with a “power tool” rather than just a plastic screwdriver (it does have one of those too to use if you are out of power!) the power pack not only powers the screwdriver but can be used to power the gears themselves when mounted on the building base. Fun learning toy!
