This is heavy and apparently strongly-made and cuts bottle foils very effectively. It's much more substantial than, for example, the ScrewPull foil cutter, and I expect it will last longer than our last one of those did (2 years). Time will tell on that, though.For the moment I'd say it seems well worth the price.

This Foil Cutter is one of the best I've ever used. Quality is excellent. Simply place on neck of bottle, align Cutter wheels, push in the black button to lock and keep depressed until a complete revolution has been achieved. You should end up with a very clean cut that's very neat. First thing you notice about this Foil Cutter is the weight. It's heavier than most of this particular kind of Foil Cutter, making for an excellent quality product. This is one of my regular goto utensils.

Does a great job. Very sturdy. Best foil cutter I've used. Only small niggle is for bottles with unusually large necks; it doesn't sit so easily on top of the such bottles but it still works fine.

Looks. very retro and certainly not flimsy. It works a treat and should last years. Very happy with it.

Does the job perfectly

Not cheap but will last, and actually works. Had cheap ones and just get chucked.Easy to use even if hands not the strongest any more.

At last! After decades of wielding sharp knives at great danger to self and others in a clumsy attempt to remove the foil from the top of wine bottles, or twisting the foil off and then getting it stuck halfway, I can now give the bottle a twirl while I hold this bad boy and hey presto! the foil top is neatly cut off and removed. The foil cutter is reassuringly heavy, seems built to last and is actually rather aesthetically pleasing. I now no longer automatically gravitate towards screwtops. Foils, I laugh in your face. You hold no terrors for me anymore!

I've had my foil cutter for years and like it so much I give it as gifts to other wine lovers I know. They always rave at how easy it is to use, what a good job it does and how well its made.

La calidad de los productos de la marca WMF se refleja en este cortaprecintos. Se nota su peso en la mano, y es fácil de usar: simplemente colocarlo, apretar el botón y girar. Además, el diseño es muy bonito y minimalista.Muy util para facilitar la apertura de botellas, evitas posibles cortes al quitar el precinto y tras usarlo, el precinto queda liso y sin bordes irregulares que puedan crear cortes en los dedos como cuando lo haces con un cuchillo. Lo volvería a comprar sin duda, una pieza de calidad para muchos años.
