I'm having the same problem that others seem to be having. I live in sunny Arizona, and the battery packs are on my ROOF so they get 10+ hours of direct sunlight each day... however, they are completely dead by about 11pm each night. Prior to being completely dead, the red, yellow, and green colors fade within the first hour or so of turning on, so it looks like I only have blue lights instead of the multicolored. It took so much time to put all the lights up that I cannot bring myself to take them down to replace them for this Christmas, so I just have a relatively pathetic light display at my home this year. Note I have 3 packs of white solar string lights from another seller that last all night and through the early morning. Next year, I will be buying only from them.

The lights only stay on for 1 hour in the evening, if that. I tried leaving it on off to see if that would help and i got the same result. The seller has responded to other people experiencing the same issue with the suggestion that they’re not getting enough direct light or that the light is too weak. I live in California where it’s pretty gosh darned sunny, even in the winter. Also, I have other solar lights - from two different companies w/out any issue. I would skip these if I were you and buy a different product. It’s too bad. I’m going to try to figure out how to return these.

These strings look pretty good when they are lit, but not very bright. Still I would have been happy with them except that they would only stay lit for about 2 hours before running out of power, which means that by 8:30 in the evening here at Christmas time in Indiana, they were already off. Not good enough for me, I returned them. Maybe if you live in a sunny place where you get a lot of direct sunlight they would stay lit longer but not a good experience for me.

I love the fact that these are solar. However, they won't stay on all night which is my heart's desire. Don't know if the solar cell is big enough. The power switch is a bit "hinky" as well. Hard to tell the mode and whether it is on or off.So the only disappointment is not staying on all night. I get up sometimes during the night and it would be joyful to see them onThe bulbs themselves are nice and small, which I lilke better than even the mini regular plug in lights.

The lights only worked for about a day. I live in Massachusetts and maybe our grey winter days (that seem bright) are not actually bright enough. The LEDs don' pack the punch of more traditional lights and I was underwhelmed by what I did see. I also was not a fan of how many blue lights were in the string. I really liked the idea of solar lights, but sadly, they did not work and had to go back.

Lights did not stay lit when I first got them. So I had them plugged in for a day to charge, only stayed lit for about an hour so I let them charge for 2 days. Lights work BUT only stay on for 1 to 2 hours. So sad, because when there on they look great but they do not stay on long. 1 to 2 hours there about.

So far they are great. Have a very nice length that runs most of my driveway and look great(as great as led lights can). Only two things I wish could be improved. One I pulled battery to charge before first use and it a cheap battery. Thats not a huge deal since I can always replace with a bigger one later. Second I wish there were more options on patterns other than on or flashing. Nevertheless a great buy for the price.

Beautiful lights! I will warn buyer to make sure that the place you want to put them gets plenty of afternoon sun; otherwise, they will not shine for long in the evening hours. Other than that, the color is absolutely gorgeous.
