Very quick delivery even though I live in the Channel Island of Alderney, the new cables were a perfect match they were less than a quarter of the price of spares from the garage door manufacturers, the fitting instructions were brief but clear, I installed them and had the door working again in less than an hour. Very happy.

Just the job, although no split pin included and the instructions need more clarity
Items were just what I needed, and enabled me to repair the door myself.But, if I were fitting again, I could do far more quickly next time, as on my first attempt I found the included (Cardale produced) instructions unhelpful on two issues:1) They didn't really explain what was meant by the two different types of fittings that they covered.2) Maybe it's me, but the diagram didn't show well enough the exact place where a split pin (not included as per picture) was to be fitted, and explain how turning the end with the spanner rotated two holes to then allow the interlock needed. It took me too long to work this out by trial and error. It was simple enough to use a long nail as an alternative to the split pin.

Good value
Great price and delivery. Straightforward to fit using instructions found online. So far doing the job, time will tell on quality long term. The split pin is used for isolating the spring, a pin punch was not needed for the garage door these cables were fitted to.
