Wooden Alphabet Zoo Jigsaw Puzzle Handmade in Ireland

I haven't seen this item - sent directly to my son for the grandson. He says it looks lovely but is a birthday present which hasn't been opened yet. It was expensive, and can only hope it proves to be as entertaining as it looks.Update : apparently my grandson loves it, and so does his five year old sister. So I am pleased to say it was worth every penny.

I bought this jigsaw from another retailer for my 3 year old grandson and it was such a success that I bought this one for my nephew as a Christmas present. Consequently it hasn't been opened yet so I am basing my review on the first one and hope the second lives up to it! Each piece is an animal in it's own right and so they can be played with individually as well as used to put the jigsaw together. The letters are lower case which I understand is good for small children just learning the alphabet. It comes with a bag to keep the pieces it. Quite a lot of money for a jigsaw but a beautiful item that will last and last.

This item is a little expensive, but worth it I think for the excellent quality. It's a beautifully designed and crafted puzzle that is a pleasure to put together. My son just turned 4 yrs needed some assistance the first 3 times, but could put it together by himself after that. Draw-string bag is useful to keep the pieces safely together.

good packaging, beautifully made, the reason I give it 3 stars is that Iam very disapointed of the state of the jigsaw. Arrived scratched in a lot of places and bumped. For the price paid, I expected a perfect product, the one I got looked liked its already been used, dont know yet if I will return.

Lovely item, looks well made with great animal characters. I'm sure my son will love playing with all the animals and it will help him to learn the alphabet too!

This is absolutely lovely - much longer than it appears - a really great quality item, packaged in a nice box. Beware there is a cheaper imitation on Amazon retailing at around £12 but is has not got the detail this one has. There is a bag but it is hidden in the packaging - nearly got thrown out!

The pieces are lovely animal shapes which can stand alone and well painted, a lovely quality gift. there are a couple of small bits and it's not for the inexperienced puzzler so I would recommend from 3 years
