Nerf Revreaper Outdoor Blaster

I would call this the ak47 of nerf guns. I found it on here for 20 bucks or less and it functions like a nerf gun 2 or 3 times its price. The design was simplified from electric models but it kept the internal flywheel, the only dart gun to use that design and it flat out works no matter what. It might chew your darts a little but much less than a pet and its worth it to never need bulky batteries but still have a magazine system and flywheel. I would suggest this to any parent looking to keep their child competing with, and maybe surprising, other kids with more extensive arsenals or a very high end dart blaster. In terms of performance the mechanical pump fire system can be spun faster than any stock electric flywheel, meaning this simple, easy to make and fix blaster can end up out-ranging and reaching higher velocity than 60 or 80 dollar models. This blaster accepts all nerf elite style magazines or compatible 3rd party models up to and including the 25, 35, and 50 round drum magazines. Ive run several hundred rounds in the short time ive had it and it has never jammed, misfired or otherwise failed. In my opinion it is the perfect nerf elite entry level blaster. If your son or daughter is thinking about getting into leagues or other organized nerf events this blaster will let them play on even footing. Other kids may have more mounts and gimmicky stuff but this thing does its job, does it all day, cant get battery fade and other than a lack of tactical mounts its perfect for most situations. Hence the ak47 comparison, it isnt needlessly elegant or wastful in the slightest, no over engineering just a blaster that will always shoot and may just help your child put a spoiled cousin in their much deserved place. And you can even brag about just how CHEAP and RELIABLE it is and SMART you were to buy it for your(now clearly superior) child.

There have been a few issues with darts getting jammed and subsequently ruined. The foam for the darts seems to be a bit too soft and prone to deformation rather quickly, which is the likely cause of the jamming. We will need to replace the darts with better ones soon. It fires quickly and is easy for little kids to shoot since it doesn't require much effort. Accuracy is lacking since the firing motion is through the handle and not a trigger pull. It's a little noisy but not too bad. Overall, it is a very fun toy and it works very well.

The RevReaper is a very cool blaster. This gun allows you to fire 10 darts very quickly. My favorite part about this gun is if you rev it hard you darts will go really fast. With a 25 or 35 dart drum this can be destructive. The blaster itself was actually larger than I expected. One thing I dislike about this gun is that it's very loud when firing. One other thing I wanna point out is that, since the gun has no trigger and you are shooting as you rev the blaster, it is very inaccurate. Overall though it's a great blaster and very fun to operate.

My son is 6 and this is his favorite nerf gun. It is easy to use as there are no handles to pull to cock the gun. Great first nerf gun for young nerf lovers!

The RevReaper is in a strange limbo between the traditional spring pump blasters and electronic flywheel blasters.It's a manual pump action flywheel blaster! And I just have to say, I love it!The velocity you shoot darts is completely dependant on how hard you pump, I was getting about 95-100 fps and that's straight out of the box!Now is this the most accurate blaster? No, but with practice and perhaps a drum mag or an 18/22 mag this thing becomes a beast!One of the favorite blasters of all time, no others out there this unique and fun! It is a bit loud when pumping but really, this isn't meant to be a ninja kill weapon.

Bought for young grandson as a pre-school start gift.He has been nerf crazy all his little life.This was a huge hit!Easy to load darts.Ease of handle to move back and forth quickly.Shoots darts so fast ard to keep track of them.However,they do smart if you are the target.It is a lot of fun.It has been dropped,thrown,and stepped on.It still works like he got it today.Great buy.One of nerf's most durable toy guns to play with.

If your style is spray and pray this is the blaster for you. Its surprisingly light weight coming in at 1 pound and 8 ounces with a full magazine. No batteries needed and Its so easy to operate that my 4 year old daughter uses it. It about 17 1/2 inches long and can be fully auto if you pump fast enough. I get darts to go about 35 ft and over forty if you modify it. The accuracy is lacking as you shake the blaster when you pump it fast, but stick a 25 round drum on it and your good to go. I highly recommend this as it's a cheap alternative to more expensive battery powered full auto blasters.

My son loves this toy gun. The bullets come out super fast! And ouch if you are standing close but, the will go far!! After a year and the gun still works great and the bullets don’t get jammed!
