These bags, which I filled with gallon ziplocks of sand, have been useful in several in several applications.The size and durable handles makes them easy to carry, since I am not trying to lift 50 or so pounds of sand at once.We have suspended a weight bag under the telescope to buffer any small motions from wind that would ruin the photos of nightime skies. I can attach a bag or two to the dog leash and keep her with me around the campsite as I move around doing chores. Again at camp, I can leave the lawn chair set up on a windy day and it will be there when I want to sit.I like being able to pack them in any configuration, utilizing odd spaces in the car to hold one or two.

You fill them will sand and then strap them onto the canopy. The straps are easy to use and the whole thing works as expected.

I bought these to hold our popup tent during tailgating. I decided to put bricks in the bag for the weight. After 2 games they seem to be working great. Only think to be careful of is that I can see the bricks tearing the bag eventual. I think I would go with stone or sand next time, but for now it's doing the trick

Bags were well made. Had one bag missing Velcro, but was able to work around it.

Does a great job holding my canopy down. Velcro could be a bit stronger. Bags aren't even full, about ¾, & 2 of the bags pop open when you lift them. But during 50mph winds, my canopy stayed down.

I filled these bags up with rocks I found by a lake I’m staying close to. Most folks do sand, but this method worked better and was less expensive than purchasing sand. They work perfect at keeping my tent from flying away on a windy day. My tent is on pavement, so normal stakes wouldn’t work. Totally buying these again if I need too.

Got these for our son-in-law, as he and our daughter go camping a lot and they needed these to hold down their pop-up. He said they were great...

I he’s rocks & gravel to fill these and it worked perfectly well. But I would not recommend using sand since the tops only Velcro shut and I don’t think the sand would stay in them if they tipped over.
