Great quality kit
Really impressed with the quality of this camera kit. Instructions fairly clear, but helped with some on-line videos, and time taken longer than anticipated, but needed due to nature of sports bike and limited easy points of camera mounting.....but time well spend. All fitted and working well, and linked to Vantrue App on my phone. Very happy and confirm the camera footage quality first class.

A Good Quality Camera
I spent a couple weeks researching the market. Main requirement was a Hi Res camera that does not have a display screen - On a bike things can go wrong in a nanosecond so I prefer not to have any distractions like sat nav, phone etc. The F1 is really nice quality - an alloy bodied camera which uses a very good Sony sensor. The whole thing is beautifully boxed and presented which gives the impression they are serious. The image quality is superb but Vantrue should (1) make shorter cables available as accessories - I have 3 x 3m+ lengths of excess cable rolled up under the seat - the rear camera only needed 10cm so the long coiled unused length is taking up precious space. (2) Make available or include a front lens protector as an accessory - The front 4k Camera glass is obviously exposed to the oncoming crap and weather one small stone chip and it will be ruined - I bought a camera lens protector and fitted it to the front camera.

Depending on your bike takes ages to install. but works really well
Took ages to install, going on a KTM Super Duke 1290 Gen 3.Fortunately there was a nice large space below one of the controllers under the seat and main unit fitted in there nicely... bike had accessory wires for always on and ignition on so that helped. However routing cables to the front of the bike took a long time to remove panels, and mounting the camera on the rear took some creativity but think I'm there. The annoying voice you can turn off (Thank goodness, I do not want my £15K sports bike sounding like a Samsung washing machine). The WiFi connection and app was simple to use and the image quality is extremely good... haven't been out on the bike yet so can't comment on moving images or vibration, but so far all looks good.Just after a very, very simple set and forget, mostly for my insurance which has a clause that the massive excesses will be written off if I can provide any footage of the event. This seems perfect.Hopefully the little controller proves to be water resistant which is my only concern but the main box is well out of any risk of water... so with a bit of luck... this should work for a while.Would recommend, but allow a day or long for a neat install unless your bike is very, very accessible.

Almost 5 star Excellent video quality and use.
An almost 5 Star all round bar a couple of niggles I will get to later so listen up VanTrue and door it for a later upgrade.Pros first.First off the Video quality front end rear is Excellent. The image is crystal clear, wide angle but not so much that it’s distorted. When you zoom the paused video you can clearly read number plates at a fare distance and with snapshots even more so. The sound is clear at lower speeds but obviously a bit of buffeting at speed as you would expect. The fit was painless, the instructions clear and intuitive. (I would class myself as more mechanically competent than average but if you know your way around your machine you should have no trouble)READ the instructions toughly as there are a couple of things you NEED to be aware of when cleaning. No jet washing or chemicals on the lenses. The video stabilisation is really good, part software and also as I mounted my cameras on the chassis as recommended. To download a 3 minute clip takes just under 60 seconds rear and just over for the front. Now a couple of niggles.I fitted my Triumph Tiger 1050 with room for everything under the seat. Which is a good thing as you will find. If you have a skinny sport bike or a classic with little room you WILL struggle. The cables are high rate Data cables the can’t be cut down so have to be spooled, NOT BENT, and stowed. The manufacturer obviously wants this to be able to fit any bike so supply cable to fit a 15 foot long bike. Two data cables, power cable and a thicker cable for the switch controller. All four have to be spooled and stowed along with the recorder unit. The size of a sky tv puck or Apple TV box but a little thinner.I will review this ad after publication and add pictures. That’s a far amount of things to store away is you are pushed for room. The other annoying thing is access to the SD Card. Two TINY screws that are not retained in the card cover and are going to be dropped and lost at some point. A hinged cover with a Retained screw would have been far better.Over all did I think it was worth it. YES! I paid £240 for the kit as it had £80 off at purchase. When you consider the price of two, for instance GoPro’s, and two cards and the faf of charging then I think it is value for money and an EXCELLENT product. Nearly 5 stars and I almost gave it five. So come on VanTrue a couple of little fixes and I would be unable to fault.Recommend Purchase!

Great camera system
I've had these fitted to my bike for quite a long time. Installation went without a hitch, but just the usual problems of running the camera cables to keep them neat and tidy. The app is easy to use and has many options to set the data you want included on the videos. For those who make progress on a track day, you can choose not to display speed. Its recommended to format your memory card every couple of weeks, but using the app, it only takes a few moments. The video quality is superb with many options in what quality you want to record at.
