First of all, when I try out a product I really want to like it. I'm careful to select items that I really think I'll like and want to use. I like vitamin C serum. I like what it does for my skin, making it softer and a bit less dull. This serum doesn't seem to be different as far as that goes. Typically, for home, I prefer serums that are in a bottle because that tends to be more cost effective. However, Vitamin C is less stable, so the single serve capsules seem to be better. Unlike other vitamin C capsules that I've used, these capsules stick together a bit. When pulling one out, I'm always afraid I'll break one open. So far that hasn't happened though. The box comes sealed with stickers. The jar itself is not sealed. The serum is quite oily and sits on top of my skin for a long time. If I use it right after exfoliating it does slightly burn or itch, but that doesn't last long and it's totally tolerable. There is more serum in each capsule than I need. It's enough for my face, neck, chest, and then I rub the leftover into my hands as much as I can. I think I'd prefer if these had about 75% as much. All in all, I will definitely use these, but I won't choose these again for a future purchase. The biggest problem for me is the smell. I grew up with goats and chickens. When I first apply this serum to my skin the smell reminds me of approaching the area of our yard that housed the goats and chickens. My daughter said she thinks they smell like dirt and petting zoo. Granted, the smell doesn't last long, but I really find it gross. 3.5 stars

The serum alone is pretty decent. It makes my skin feel very soft. I apply it at night and I do wake up with very soft skin. It makes my skin look brighter as well! It absorbs nicely into my skin leaving it hydrated. My biggest issue is that I am not a fan of the way it smells. It smells bad to me and it’s hard applying this on a regular because I do not want to be smelling it.

In the short time that I've been using this Vitamin C face serum, I have noticed that the darkness under my eyes most mornings is less intense, and my skin overall looks brighter and more supple. I'm not sure I can contribute all of the positives I'm experiencing in my skin to this product alone, but I do believe it helps.

I like the idea of Vit C capsules because it guarantees a fresh product each use. It also guarantees that none of the [product will go to waste and be left in the bottle- I get all that I pay for. This comes in a beautiful container and the capsules are semi-easy to use. They don't really pinch and twist off like others I have tried but I had to punch and pull apart. Then there was the smell. This smells like plastic and I am not sure why since they claim to be vegan and natural. I am assuming it took on the smell of the container? This is an oil consistency rather than a serum, and even after waiting 10-15 minutes and doing gua sha, this never absorbed into my skin. It just sat on top looking and feeling oily. I will continue use until gone, but have moved this product to the end of my skincare routine because nothing can penetrate this oily serum once it's on my face. I am interested to see if I get any results at all.
