Show Sheen worked great to help smooth out matted fur on our 18 year old dog. She has multiple problems and can't tolerate much brushing. Sprayed it on her coat and was able to more easily untangle her matts. We used it in the past on horses' manes & tails.

I back in the 70's used this on my horses. I showed my horses, so looking great with as little work as possible was my goal.I found this on Amazon, it worked great back then so I gave it a try.I need something for one of my pomeranian who has sensitive skin and is always scratching causing mats in his hair ( less scratching now). I purchased this product and it has not failed me. His hair is a beautiful white and the mats come out easily if he gets any. Dirt etc.. doesn't have a chance with this product. Don't get me wrong they do need baths and get dirty, just less so now. Stuff doesn't get stuck to the rear end when they haven't had a hair cut. I now use it on both of my pomeranians. Their coat feels so soft and full. You don't need to use a lot, and the more you use it, the small the amount is needed to be used. This it part of bathtime.I wonder if they have it for human hair. My hair is long and I live in a very humid state. Frizz chemicals don't work for me. I've tried so many a have a box full that I give the stuff away. So other don't have to waste money trying to control their hair. My hair looks great then I go outside. Instant hair frizz!!!Either way, I have some beautiful and soft pomeranians that everyone wants to touch. At their vet appointment. the vet was amazed.

Worked well in our very curly Bernedoodle. Keeps his coat soft and matte free. If you have a doodle, give this a shot.

I bought a second bottle to have on hand because these sell out fast! It smells great! works well keeping your double coated dog clean soft and shiney. Very easy to use with the spray bottle. The size of bottle is perfect

I think it's just a form of silicone. It doesn't seem to truly bond with the fur, it just coats it, so my floors became an ice skating rink, like others have mentioned. I can't use it, it just makes my floors too dangerous (I sprayed it on him while outside).

If you have horses this is great for after the bath to detangle or for getting ready for a show...pleasant scent..Careful not to put in saddle area..!!!Have used it for years...

I rescued a golden retriever that was badly matted. Certain breeds like golden can't be shaved down easily or safely so, for me at least this has been a good way to spray a mist over the body with a little extra in problem areas (tail, sanitary area, back of the ears, neck, fronts of legs) and the gently comb through. She's older I don't want to make her crazy with brushing I just want her comfortable and dont want a total shave down because the knots are too close to the skin, and she would struggle maintaining body temperature. So this has proven to provide some relief and gradually make her more comfortable. Does she it? not really. No dogs typically like being sprayed unexpectedly (or expectedly) but its easy to spread easily, light enough to not saturate and just pull knots to one area) and had just been a help.
