For casual modeler
This model is relatively decent model of the pre-modernization USS Missouri, with the exception of hull under the waterline, which is completely bogus. The model doesn't even feature properllor shafts and for some ridiculous reason it has one rudder where as the real ship has two. Also the hull bears very little resemblance to the real one.Naturally there are obvious errors above waterline as well, but they are nowhere near as dramatic as the above mentioned. All in all, superstructure and details there are reasonable for casual modeler.Quality of the kit is acceptable, despite much needed work to fit the pieces properly together (especially deck and hull, which took two days of forcing them to meet properly, slowly gluing little by little). There were also few "negative" faults that needed filling up and (re)modeling.Problem is the price tag, which I feel is nearly double what this model should sell for (£12 at most, I would think).I bought and built mine for a "visual aid" explaining a larger 1:128 project I was building in shared workspace, for the interested and curious.
