Var Nylon Tyre Levers Racing

This is the third set that I own. This product is designed to pull the tyre's bead over the wheel rim. It is made of tough GRP; therefore there is no gouging or bruising of the wheel rim. I haven't managed to bust one of these yet. It's main USP is that it achieves the tyre seating without causing pinch flats which I have found other tyre levers can cause.

Been cycling for years and the pain of putting on continental tyres on rims is annoying. I'd sometimes pinch my inners with a old style levers when doing it and give myself a puncture or even snap the levers. This bit of kit is a game changer and makes fitting tyres on road bikes a breeze.

Great item, received swiftly and works well. So much better than the large plier like alternatives that are also available, but are not practical to take on a ride.

Does a good job at protecting your fingers when removing tyres meaning you can put in that extra effort to remove a stubborn tyre without the risk of slipping and scraping your fingers and knuckles across the rim.

I've snapped multiple sets of tyre levers trying to change my road bike tyres before getting this set.They take a little getting used to, but I can't fault them when trying to change road tyres.

If you don't have one of these then you are missing out. I watched a cycling buddy use this on my "very difficult to mount tyre" and he put it on in about 25 seconds with no danger of pinching. It was so impressive that my entire group bout one the next week.It is compact and replaces any tyre levers that you carry because it acts as a lever and has another that is stored in the middle so is no additional weight.

I have now used this on the road. It makes re-mounting road bike tyres after a puncture a doddle even with freezing fingers.

Somewhat overpriced but is a huge help when fitting tough tyres like Marathon Plus on small rims or rims without much of a central "well"
