This tiny calculator works amazingly well. How it stores all this information is mind boggling. It does several things but I just mainly use it to determine the yardage to the flag. It gives three readings to the close, middle and far portions of the green as it works off GPS instead of sighting on the flag as a pro model range finder will do. This is plenty good for my club selection. And I really like the simplicity of the unit. Just turn it on and play. When you look at it it automatically tells you the three readings. No buttons to push or anything. I use it on silent mode as I don't want the noise on the course. I love this thing and would highly recommend it to the average high handicap golfer that can't control their shots to the nearest 10 yards!

Love this little gadget. It is small so fits in a pocket or on your hat. The GPS can find any course and the distances are pretty accurate. And it is very reasonably priced compared to other distance tools. Don't know how I ever managed without it.

3 of my friends have these, as do I. While standing in same place, it they display different yardages, with an error of 2-3 yards. Also, 2 friends have had their batteries apparently go bad very soon (they have had to set it up online and "reset" it), with battery then lasting maybe for a round. The change-out of batteries appears to be sort of complicated. Mine is over a year old, and have not had a problem.

This is my 3rd Golf Buddy......love this product but there is a definite "shelf life" or life expectancy to one. I use it as in addition to my range finder. If the price should increase I probably would not buy another.

I've used it on 2 golf courses so far. It appears to be within 5 yards for accuracy. Easy to use, turn on wait 3 minutes for it to find the golf course you are on, and go to any hole on the course that you want to start at and it shows the distance. The distance is to center of the green, also front and back of green distances. I bought the watch band holder because I like to keep my ball marker clipped to my hat. The golf buddy sticks out a little when using the watch band, but I don't even think about it once I get started golfing. It's easy to look at the distances when it's on your wrist. The speaker is fair.

Almost every round it loses connection to the satellite and once reestablish the connection, it wouldn’t work until I go to a teebox of a hole. So annoying. Also, if it detects another hole near the hole I’m playing, it never changes back and I end up without it until the next hole. Other than those, it works very well when it does. So I would give it 3 stars.

The best part about ordering from Amazon is that the first time, the product was defective the third time I used it. I contacted Amazon and they told me to take it to Kohls to return -- I didn't even need to package it. The replacement arrived the very next day even though it took me a couple of days to get the defective product to Kohls to return. The replacement works perfectly.
