COUI UV Facial Face Sunscreen SPF 30 Mineral Zinc Oxide Moisturizer Lotion 3.3oz

I am frequently outdoors in the Southern California sun, I apply sunscreen everyday, and I have found this COUI sunscreen to be a good one. It goes on smooth, leaves no oily sheen, doesn't leave my face white, and has plenty of beneficial ingredients.However, there are a few things I do not like about this product.This product is described a being fragrance free. And although there are no added fragrances, it contains Octinoxaste and Octisalate, which have a characteristic sunscreen odor. It is not unpleasant and doesn't bother me but my girlfriend frequently comments that I "smell like sunblock." She is very sensitive when it comes to smells.The second thing that I don't like about this product is that it contains retinyl palmitate. Retinyl palmitate (Vitamin A, also inaccurately called retinol in many anti-aging formulations) is not bad in general. Retinyl palmitate is an antioxidant and can reduce fine lines and sun damage in a nightly moisturizer, but there has been a convincing body of research that suggests that it can break down into carcinogenic molecules when exposed to UV radiation and is therefore not appropriate to use in a sunscreen. The amount of harm it is doing is likely very small, and the benefit of using this sunscreen outweighs this risk for me.Overall I am please with this purchase and I will continue to use this product for the foreseeable future.

I had this product before and loved it! I have oily skin, and it was non greasy sunscreen and worked well under my makeup, but I ran out. I decided to reorder. The packaging looks the same, but the product has different formula: my face turned into a grease ball by noon, by 4 pm all my foundation disappeared, and I use Double Wear, which can sustain whatever! I will not be buying it again. And unfortunately, will not recommend it.

I work outside every day on a pecan farm. Some days the sun is brutal. I've tried many sunscreens. From the oily white stuff to the spray on thingies. Normally it's a real hassle to slather the stuff on. Many times I go without because I don't want the bother and my hands feel greasy afterwords, even through I wash them (or maybe I don't).Let me tell you, this stuff is a joy to put on. It comes out creamy and light. Goes on smooth and blends in well. I was actually a little upset the one day I forgot to put it on. And it works great. I put it on in the morning and it last all day. I know I haven't been burned. By this time of year with the bright spring days and the cool breezes, you don't realize how much sun you are getting, I've usually been burned once already. But not this year!I highly recommend it and a little goes a long way. I think my skin is even looks a little better too.

A nice, light sunscreen for your face that doesn't feel greasy and absorbs quickly. It's a little to thick and smells too "sunscreen-y" for me to want to wear it everyday in place of my usual morning after-shower moisturizer. But it's an awesome choice for when I'm going to spend a day in the sun. Lasts a long time and doesn't make me break out!

I wash shocked to find out that most of the sunscreens on the market only protect you from UVB but not UVA. If you don't protect your skin from UVA ray, you will age very fast! So I searched online and tried to find a sunscreen gives full spectrum protection. In addition to that, I wanted to have a sunscreen as light as possible because I have oily skin. At first I was very skeptical when I saw all the good reviews. But I thought what the heck it's cheaper than many sunscreens from big names and if it's not good I can always return it, it's amazon! I'm so glad I got this thing. Because it honestly is light as feather and can be easily absorbed. Even I had no problem using it. I never get breakouts while using it and doesn't leave me skin feel stick and uncomfortable. I barely notice I put sun screen.

Worn alone, this sunscreen is fine, but when used with another moisturizer underneath, I have issues with it not absorbing properly. It is not as light a product as anticipated based on other reviews. I'll finish the bottle, but will try something else next time.

Some sunscreens can be gritty, but this one has a great texture. It does take some time and massaging to fully absorb. Has a light "sunscreen" smell.

This is an excellent product. The consistency is very slightly thicker than in standard sunscreens, but I find it to be moisturizing, so I don't need to add another moisturizer. I have normal/dry skin, but not extremely dry skin. It is not shiny or greasy, and no stickiness. I hesitated a little because it has some zinc oxide, and sometimes those are white and take a while to run in. This does not cause any of that - no whiteness, just absorbs right in. I'm a true sunscreen queen, with very fair skin that burns easily when not protected. No question I will buy this product again.
