Huge power saving over old CFL's. Replaced 42 watt CFL's in outdoor wall packs. LED lights are 8 watts. More than 80% reduction in power consumption. They are slightly less bright than 42 watt bulbs, but have a whiter light and are perfect for stumble/ security lighting on front of my building. Eliminating the ballast removes one more possible point of failure. Work great on 277VAC and are more efficient, since the ballast is not making heat, while making higher voltage AC. Door on the right has LED's, left door has old CFL's. LED are not as bright, but with the huge savings, I do not care!

On a good side the lamp is much brighter then 36W. It is more like 60W equivalent.On a bad side I've got it to replace the bulb in my garage door opener and it doesn't work there.The base is too short and doesn't go all the way in before the body get stuck in the fixture.(you can see the black marks on the body on the picture I've snapped)Had to install it in a different location.

This bulb does not fit a standard home light fixture base. I thought I would use this to light up my back yard but this bulb is too big. The part that you screw into the socket has a bigger circumference than the socket. I returned it and was only charged for shipping in back.

Unbelievable the amount of light that comes out of the small bulb the 50 for Wife under $20 looks like it's gone but I got plenty of the ones are the ones and have used everyone of them

It's not bad light bulb but not really sure it's says used low wats I about to use for refrigerator but it is not working .my refrigerator say 40 w max this one I think have more. But the light bulb is working.

This light is very bright, much better than my previous ceiling light.
