Good monitor, while not the brightest
This monitor has a great refresh rate of 180Hz but only 380 nits max brightness. This is actually pretty good until you turn on HDR in Windows, then the display dims notably because the bright brights need to contrast more with the dark darks and the max brightness just isn't that high. For comparison the KTC 27" 1440P 100Hz monitor (of which I own 2) has a max brightness of 800 nits and doesn't dim nearly as much as this 27" 1440P 180Hz monitor when enabling HDR in Windows. Side by side it is obvious. See in the included image that the 180Hz monitor on the left is not as bright as the 100Hz monitor on the right. Both are connected with the same DisplayPort cable to the same AMD RX 9070 XT and both have HDR enabled in Windows 11.

Best Budget 1440p Monitor
So far so good. I got this on sale with a coupon for around $110 and it very well may be a be the best budget monitor out there especially for 1440p at 100hz. You can't even find 1080p monitors for this price. In the long term, it may start having issues but for now it has definitely been worth the money.

Decent monitor for a good pring and a great warranty support department.
First purchased on 11/24/2024Monitor has Great picture and fast response time. I did have a hard time getting HDR to work properly at first but discovered it was just a setting. stand is well built and very solid. Good vertical adjustment along with tilt. Picture is very clear and bright. When switching from normal to HDR screen took about 4 seconds before flashing then stabilizing. Monitor is almost always in HDR mode, after four months of use monitor failed, and screen was black. Upon testing it was determined that it was just a bad monitor. Contacted KTC support and they went above and beyond to solve the issue. The warranty states that I was responsible for return shipping. After letting them know that the return shipping was around $200 KTC sent me a prepaid return label and I packaged it up in original packaging and shipped it back. They sent me a brand-new monitor and it has worked flawlessly. It has worked great now for the last five weeks or so. It is still slow to change from standard to HDR mode but it does not flash when switching like before. The original monitor would flash when switching modes sometimes more than once but the new one does not do that. I am hoping that it was just a defective monitor and not a design problem. I would have rated this monitor a five had it not failed. I original rated it a two because of possibly having to pay a ridicules price to ship back a clearly defective monitor. The thing was is that KTC agreed and paid the shipping. They did not have to as it is clearly stated that customer is responsible for return shipping which I believe is not a good policy. The monitor gets a 4-star rating because it failed too soon. The support gets a 5-star rating because they did the right thing. Only time will tell now if it is going to last but it acts better than the first one. If it does stand up to the test of time, I would not be afraid to purchase another KTC monitor.

Great low profile monitor
This monitor has been great and has wonderful performance for the price. Going from a 60Hz monitor to 165Hz is a huge difference which is definitely felt. The setup is extremely straightforward and easy. The colours were different from my previous monitor but didn’t take long to get used to and you can always tweak the display. The low profile design is great but my only nitpick would be how lightweight the stand is, but I haven’t had any issues with it so far. Great for 1080p gaming and a great value for this price point.

Niceee
Beauitful monitor. It was a nice upgrade to my 1080p Lenovo. This one is now my main monitpr and my Lenovo is my side piece. I didn't check in the description but my monitor's sound doesn't work which is the only drawback but I don't mind because I always use my headset.

Great Monitor for a Great Price.
For the Price this monitor is great (i use it as a 2nd monitor), but there is one issue i found that Mac user should be aware of before buying this as a primary monitor. When used as a Primary Monitor it will not show or recognize a signal durning the Bios boot up on a mac ( Where you see the Apple logo and the progress bar on start up) Which the same issue happens when Booting in the the "StartUp Manager" by holding the "options" key durning boot up. So you will not be able to choose which drive you want to boot up in. It seems to work fine on a Windows OS, seeing the Bios boot and even works going into SAFE mode on Windows.
