AliTEK J-001 120+Miles Ultra Amplified TV Antenna Indoor - Upgraded Digital HDTV Antenna, Black

I bought this based on the claim that it has a 120 mile range. When I first installed it, I could only watch 5 channels, Fox,PBS(3 channels),MeTV. I then had to move it to another part of the room and then I could pick up 2 more channels,(NBC,CW). All of these channels are within the city limits of where I live. The PBS station is 50 miles away. The CBS station is just 30 miles away and no matter where I put the antenna, it will not pick it up. I have tried the upstairs living room, the finished basement, etc, nothing works! You constantly have to move the antenna around to watch channels. For example, if I want to ABC or FoX I have to put It by the window. For NBC I have to move it to the wall on the opposite side of the room. So I just don't see how all of these people can claim it can pick up 15,20 channels or more. Waste of money!

This did not work at 8500 feet. I could not connect to any channels.

Got 118-156 channels, mostly at 136( live in big city, some channels duplicated). Rainy weather did not seem to affect picture quality significantly. Sometimes still have to rotate the antenna a little for good picture. Channels previously scanned and store in TV set may disappear (national TV channels) sometimes, so occasionally re-scanning may be needed. Otherwise I could have rated it 5 stars.

It is well made and a good product, but it is directional, which means you have to move it around to get the best reception. There is one strange thing about it. I have TV stations about 7 miles away and the only way i can get them to come in is by opening the glass window. If I close it the station fades way.

Supposed to cover 120 miles and can't get stations 75 miles away

Bought this after Hurricane Michael so I have used it for a while now. Easy to set up on tv. Lots of channels. When we got power back which was a bit over a month. information from the outside was needed. Even on that time when we only had one radio station operating in town I was able to get 26 channels. It still works great and I get more channels than a year ago usually 28 to 33 but for my area that is really good and better than some I know who have a big outside antenna. Only recommendation is try it in a few places to see where you get the best signal.

I don't know about 120 miles, but it works well for my parents for all stations except for one. The local NBC station's tower is about 40 miles away and the reception is decent but not stable. The other stations come in clear in full 1080p.

Live in Florida i get.over 30 channels all the main networks ,,, you cant go wrong....
